Excellent review brother. I know you don’t like blind buys, but I just did. I have a few bottles in my collection from Rasasi and my favourite is Shuhrah.
I love Rasasi as well but they've got to sort themselves out in the UK. They're missing out on business. Off the top of my head I've got Tasmeem, Yazan, Al Wissam Day and also Evening, Faquat Lil Rijal, Shuhrah, Daarej and at least half a dozen others that I don't wear so regularly but still enjoy and rate highly. I can't praise them mostly. The problem is that buying them isn't a problem but free samples are virtually unobtainable. They're too expensive to blind buy for me. I did it once with Destinee Shining of Daylight which I didn't like and won't be so soft as to do that again. It proved at least that I don't enjoy everything they do so I won't blind buy again. If I could get my hands on a few 1ml samples I'd pull the trigger on the ones I like. Until then my money stays in my wallet and not with Rasasi. Surely it would be good business practice to dole samples out?
Many different reasons, it’s a VERY unique flavour/smelling. Look up the notes. Watch a few reviews, even to Blind buy this you won’t be disappointed.. Never smelt anything like this ever, , good performance (on me) and the bottle an purple juice looks awesome

But not like the sweet your thinking I don’t think , I mean I don’t know your kind of preference, but with the price and the bottle an juice alone, it’s definitely a good one for the collection, maybe try an get a sample some how, but I’m from NZ, I blind bought based on joys review and don’t regret it..!!

My new favourite at the moment is actually one from PDM called Layton, it’s probably the best fragrance ever, but it would probably be a little to sweet for you.
Satish Sutar no worries, And yes PDM Layton is the best, a little pricey but worth it. If you like Layton like I do. then I’m sure you will like Daarej as well if you agree with me about Layton.
What do you think of their Aventus clone the Zeebra one? Have you tried it? Do you think it is a better clone than Armaf CDNIM or the other Red one with black horse head.... Will you make a video for the best aventus clone nowadays since there are many and some became bad after reformulation but we hear a lot about Perfume vintage and Dua.... Do you think any inspired clone was finally able to get more closer to the original one (regardless of its cost...like Dua are not cheap...)
SunsetSheen it’s not beast mode on me but a gorgeous scent. Projection is about 3-4 feet and the longevity is about 6-7 hours. I really enjoy this fragrance!
How reserved is the oud on this one? I haven't liked any oud forward frags. The only things I have in my rotation that have oud are Dunhill Icon and Rasasi Al Wisam Day, in which the oud is fresh and almost unnoticed.
I got a bottle recently and the box was advertised as Shaghaf on Perfumery.in but the box was labelled "Nafaeis Al Shaghaf". Not sure if it's the same fragrance and renamed, because it is exactly as you described. The performance is also good. Exactly the same bottle and box, but different label/name. I read on a fragrantica discussion forum that the renamed bottle is for EU market.....im thinking IFRA reformulation for that market. Can anyone confirm? I find it juvenile and close to Paco Rabane Black XS excess
Thank you for the amazing review again Joy. Rasasi is a house that has excellent quality perfumes I prefer it over most of the designer fragrances. Rasasi is the longest lasting fragrance on my skin (that I ever tried) For the price you pay you cant really get better than this =) If you ever put your nose on Al Wisam Evening I would like to hear your thoughts on it. My current Rasasi favourites are .Al Wisam Day (over Entebaa) and 2.Hawas. Keep the good work up
@@dannypacini9820 Thank you for the reply, appreciated much. Maybe AWD sprayer shoots out more juice that's why I feel that the lasting power is better. However scentwise they are not far from each other there s something slightly sour (maybe some citrus) that s a bit strange to me if I smell Entebaa up close. In AWD I dont feel that, only the perfect blend o' bergamot rose and some wood. Presentationwise also over Entebaa. Prices r close but overall I feel with AWD I got more than with Entebaa. ☺ But that's just my feelings about them 😉

Today i went to rasassi seller in a mall and asked about shaghaf , they said its all sold out but they had the tester only . and i smelled it its amazing and you described it really good they told me they are bringing more tomorrow so im getting it . @@SunsetSheen 3 hours of strong projection, and at least in mi skin 12 hour of longevitity, but I dont get the aquatic vibe, for me smells in the opening like Chanel Coco Mademoisselle Intense, pretty floral for the rose and the ylan ylang and fruity very fruity, and sweet, in the drydown is more wereable.

Okay.... i just sprayed the 3 fragrances you mentioned . Shagaaf , so blue and ADG. They all smelll different to me, just like the points of a triangle. I remember you said SO BLUE similar to ADG, but seriously brother i dont feel so. May be its the climate or my nose🤔. To my nose Shagaaf , its a unisex version of Lattafa anna al abyadh🤭.

I love this scent & bottle but the florals are a bit too powdery and the sweetness is a bit too synthetic on the opening. Hawas is sexier and Shuhrah is more interesting but the light aquatic note makes Shaghaf the safer "casual" scent from Rasasi, it's very easy to wear and worth the buy for casual use!

troecurov3 it depends,,, lattafa is richer, deeper and half the price.. as in similar coz it comes in 50ml. Good for winter. Whereas Rassasi is fresher and airy. Lattafa perfumes highlights amber . Rassasi are experts in wood.

Bought this in Dubai a few weeks ago. In the Rasasi stores in Dubai, the prices are so cheap. I think I got this for around $30 or less. Anyway, I get a sweet fruitiness along with a powerful smokiness. I'm shocked you didn't mention the smoke. For me, that smokey aspect is a little too strong, but I do enjoy it.

Blind bought it...unfortunately not my cup of tea. Big on florals and sweetness....too sweet, almost candy cane like sweetnesses. There’s nothing masculine about it, more towards feminine side i think.

I like Rasasi way more than Armaf. I only like CDNI by Armaf. Rasasi has a lot more fragrances I like that also perform way better.

Piotr rezni Rasasi lasts a solid 12-18 hours on me. I have three of them. I get a good 8-10 on Armaf CDNI.

Bought this in Dubai a few weeks ago. In the Rasasi stores in Dubai, the prices are so cheap. I think I got this for around $30 or less. Anyway, I get a sweet fruitiness along with a powerful smokiness. I'm shocked you didn't mention the smoke. For me, that smokey aspect is a little too strong, but I do enjoy it.

They have a lot of stores all over Dubai you can check on Algurir mall or deira city centre.... I just bought one from their store in Algurir mall.

I own many from Rasasi and I also own Kun Mukhtqlifan (which I purchased because of Ifi) . I think it alright . Like a bar of soap smell.
Ifif does not always have the best nose compared to Joy.

Blind bought it...unfortunately not my cup of tea. Big on florals and sweetness....too sweet, almost candy cane like sweetnesses. There’s nothing masculine about it, more towards feminine side i think.
