- Welcome back to my Kengan Ashura or Kengan Ashua analysis series! In this series, I'll be reviewing and explaining ALL of the Kengan fighters in the show. This includes going over their FULL backstories, personalities, appearances, and fighting style. Today I'm going to analyze "The Fang of Metsudo" Kanoh Agito.

The Kengan Ashura manga is currently completed right now with 27 volumes and it has a sequel called Kengan Omega. The Kengan Ashura anime is currently streaming on Netflix and has 2 seasons. Kengan Ashura Season 3 has not yet been confirmed.

Don't read this there are spoilers: omg have you guys read Kengan Omega 53?! Spoiler! but I can't believe my boy ohma is alive. I can't wait for season 3 of Kengan Ashura because I want to see the Fang vs Gaolang Wongsawat! it's going to be a better fight than Fang vs Okubo. Maybe even better than him vs Kuroki Gensai. The Hatsumi Sen fight was ight.

I believe he tells Misasa that he is originally from China. So I would believe he is not from the inside.
To think that Kanoh would've never lost if it wasn't for lag.

The scary thing is that Agito managed to reduce the lag between his modes to nothing but milliseconds. I think he only lost to Kuroki because Kuroki was such a monster himself too and was honestly the only mofo who could adapt to Kanoh evolving literally in the middle of a fight.
Agitoh is not only strong and smart he’s also prideful and loyal,who knew someone so scary could be so full of devotion.
Man owes his life to Metsudo. His loyalty really shows in Omega too
So my boy arc is basically like “The Undertaker” decided to after getting beater by the Devil Lance after being unhuman he decided to become the American badass like Undertaker in 2000s

At 3:59 , He doesn’t hate Agito anymore , at the end of Kenyan ashura they seem to have resolved their differences , he even gives Agito his bike and let’s him ride it for two years while training in America

Many fighting games actually have a character whose movelist is an amalgamation of other fighters' moves. But because of the vast range of techniques, the power is reduced a little to keep the game balanced. Kanoh, of course, has no such limitations.
Probably he would unlock special combos /moves based on what the opponent uses.
As a child, Agito was subjected to a ritual normally used to make very deadly poisons.
Agito was locked in a room with a dozen others for several days. The last one standing would be allowed to live and walk out.
When Metsudo finally found him, he was surrounded by bloody corpses.
This technique is used with very poisonous insects. They'd put centipedes in a jar and they'd eat other. The last one alive would be ground up and made into poison.
They were locked in there for three months (or was intended to be) normally they kill each other on the first day and then the reward is that there is just enough air, food, and water for one person to just barely survive for three months, which forces them to kill each other right off the bat as otherwise they'd die. The Kengan chairmen knowing about the Worm's Gu ritual rushes to stop it but Agito had already become the poison.

On the recent chapters of Kengan Omega Agito once again evolved he doesn't have that delay when switching forms. Kuroki Gensai also said that when he and Agito fought again he will surely lose

Kanoh Agito needs experience to beat Kuroki Gensai, and focus on improving his own techniques and not rely so much on evolution!

What’s wrong with relying on evolution? I mean, that’s more-like humane or animalistic. Still better than Advance, technically.
JUVIR • evolution can take you only so far you need experience to to evolve and to build upon that to the next stage of evolution, I also don’t see the problem with evolution but I think he means instead of trying to defeat his opponents in the most efficient way which is going animalistic (for example) he should not rely on that and hone his own and others techniques so he should avoid that

I do indeed like the idea of Kanoh Agito's Formless style being pure manifestation of Bruce Lee's words "Be as water". Lends to the artistic freedom of how its practitioners are drawn with their 'watery' effects when evading attacks, while in reality they are just moving in very quick, fluid motions.
I’d love for you to look into Kuroki Gensai! He even uses Sanchin, a kata taught to us in Goju-Ryu karate.

Ohma apparently didn't die, cloning brought back almost every character that died, and the kengan association isn't as big and strong as it's implied to be in ashura. It's still a great read, but it's just frustrating

Not "everyone" is back, only Meguro is and it is obvious that it was under mister Scarface's direction. Not to mention, this was already implied way back with one of Hayami's cooperators only working for him to get access to *them* which he failed. We then see a slice of them at the end, implicating much more is afoot than said before.
@@MajorLawliet the ending of ashura was what I would call a perfect ending while still allowing more to be explored, but walking that ending back is the most frustrating thing to me, where it retroactively makes that ending worse
