best regards for your valuable appreciation in your case, first of all verify the dc voltage at main dc capacitor then check low voltage power supply for 5 volt 15 -15 volt then check the current setting pot then verify the IGBT drive, if no drive is there then check control card aslo check video number 286, 287, 288, 289, 291, 292 & 293 every video is to discuss each sub section and its components and their function and its test troubleshooting

I received a single board. there was not any igbt. when i install 60T60 it doesn't do anything. when i install 60N60 its runs normally but igbt get hot within few seconds even bulb in series and without any load. do you have any idea what could be the season ? Thanks
I have a welder machine which there is not output voltage. I tested 2 IGBT = Ok, 4 Diodes = Ok, 3 Polyester caps ok, 2 with 4.7 uF and 0.02 Esr and other 400v with 4.7uF and 0.03 Esr. Bridge rectifier is Ok. But, i haven't square waves in gate of 2 igbts. Thre wave it's similar to a part of senoid. Is the module the problem ? I haven't 24v in the line 24v. I applied 24v and it starts to show 25.5v. The cooler try to rotate. But don't rotate. I pit other and it spins swiftly. I also heard a noisy sound probably in 24v transformer and relay is not arming. What you experience could guide me now sir ?

if you have excessive voltage that is due to pwm control card. when it's duty cycle will increase, then the output voltage will increase. it might be duw to the feedback network (operational amplifier connected with output current sense shunt resistor)
Hello great video as always. By my capacitors I have by both of them 11 volt drop. They are 475k 4,7uF and I don't know if they are good or not. I don't know what should I do with them. The core is heating up by standby to almost 50grad Celsius or more. Should I change them on same ones they are 250volt or 685k s 6,85uF.And if I could use capacitors 400volts.Tell me please your opinion.
I have this welding machine that doesn't weld. i noticed the IGBTs were gone. i have removed and replaced but it still not welding. on the multimeter at 200-ohms reading, the resistance is 20-ohm from gate to source even when mosfet are absent am i missing something
AS. please explain that why positive voltage to collector of the igbt and negative to the emitter? I mean we generally see the source connected to the emitter side of the transistors at the circuits. So it is supposed to be connected both positive and negative to the emitter side. but here this is different type connection.

(i did some experiment by putting a high current bridge rectufier at out put (to be on the safe side) and then i put the capacitors in parallul and found improved output.... so my questions is; can i put smoothing capacitor directly (parallel) with output electrodes? and what kind and capacitance?

Sir, single board ki machine hai isme output terminal pe 110 dc volt aa rha hai jiske wajah se one touch OC ho jata hai, 50, 60 volt hone se welding thik hota hai. Is 110 volt ko kaise kam kare ye kyon ho rha pls bataye. Thankyou

Hi, I'm from Cuba and I just watched your video, I had a problem with a TIG200 Ac welder, It blows up the 4 mosfet bridge after 2 min of working. It uses a driver card with 4 gate controllers and 4 mosfet in H configuration, and the driver card doesnt have blown up components. Do you think its a conmutation problem, have you seen anything like this?? Best regards...
welcome dear it happens when gate driver component (for any single mosfet or pair of mosfet) is bad driver card of pulse forming network for full bridge drive is not working good if the allowed deadtime between both channels is low and both channels are overlapping (check signal with oscilloscope) might be low quality components, that doesn't meet the product standards

What happens when i haven't output power (0v) ? I tested all welder machinr (IGBT = Ok, poliester cap 250v with 4.6 uF and 0.02 esr 2 caps with similar measurement = ok ,4 diodes for high current withou shorts, 2 mains capas got 297V each, pulses which comes to thr IGBT is not square. Any help ?

thank you for explanation. we have one problem in our smps. we have multiple output smps in our machine. when we check output side of smps, it was showing 15v dc but battery charging voltage is not coming. there is no short circuit in put side . i checked voltage at capacitor 313v coming. but chopper transformer output side is no voltage. i checked opto coupler voltage at 1.070 v coming may be problem in chopper transformer or how to check chopper transformer
I am little bit confused from your question, because you said multiple output transformer, you have 15 volt, you have no output, you have 1.07 volt on optocoupler input. many thanks are mixed together 1. if you find 1.07 volt on optocoupler that is the biggest proof that the smps controller and high frequency transformer is working good please send a picture to my WhatsApp 00962 79 1161 084

Sir has 275v on the paper. I think 250v is too low considering the input DC voltage.
In video #288 it uses 400v.

there is no need to put capacitor in output, as it is current controlled machine, so adding capacitor will make false reading in feedback system.

first bridge rectifier is operated through soft starter circuit, then it is directly connected to line voltage, because it is high power circuit
