Skye Is Falling - Studio Improv (DPO / MATHS / KORGASMATRON II)

- This piece is a live improv making my first focused patch on a eurorack modular setup I've just started putting together. Very textural rather than being a 'structured' tune like I usually like to do.
It's pretty basic, using a DPO being modulated by a MATHS running through a MI Streams and Dual Filter (Intellijel Korgasmatron II), then into some basic delay / reverb in Logic.
I then overdubbed some East West instruments and a bass part from the Virus TI2 towards the end to add a little more depth.
Tracked on the Apogee Duet, mixed and mastered in Logic Pro X.
Don't forget to subscribe, like and leave any feedback (positive or negative, looking to grow here!) as I'll be posting once a month.

Nice man, dark and knobby... 😎
Nice Work Mate
nice!!!
Good stuff man, I love the sound of electricity :) now you need an MI elements or rings to replace some of the pre-recorded sounds. ;)
+subq thanks for listening, and yeah i've been looking into the elements / rings / clouds stuff that MI do. I'd love to go down that path soon, but also tentative on not getting modules where I can already create the same / similar sounds else where. But Elements does look fun! :D

I got elements , 2nd module I bought and at one point before I got it installed almost swapped for Rings cos it was cheaper.
I kept it, it is quite good but takes some figuring out , sometimes hard to recreate the same sound next day kind of.
It needs a lot of perseverance but worth the effort.
In a sense you don't necessarily need rings if you have elements unless you want the so called ''polyphonic'' string mode and the input to the exciter .
Elements has a pretty wide pallette of bells and plucks and a lot of others as well , some a bit obscure, but as i said it needs patience.
