- This tutorial will show you how to create an audio visualizer, waveform, or spectrum in DaVinci Resolve. The first method involves using a free plugin called Reactor, and the audio file must be a WAV file type. The second method does not involve a plugin and uses a MIDI audio file.

Best tutorial I have seen on this subject. Davinci Resolve, like many other editing software, have multiple ways to get something done. This version always has worked for me, you have done the Lord's work my friend!
Top tutorial! Easy to follow, good explained and probably as short as it gets!
Thank you for sharing this :D
Nice one, thank you so much for putting this together!
I wish Blackmagic would build in something natively like Aftereffects. I still have to use AE to do my podcast b/c we have such long episodes that we exceed the file limit size many times over.
Yep. Or build something into the fusion page that works more like AE.
Hmm doesn't look like it works anymore. Not seeing fuses as an option.
same
Had to restart Davinci resolve, open a new file and then come back to the OG file before I could get fuse to show up.
This fixed for me too ^^
Thank you For that. fixed
Yup. Thanks, that did it.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
cant believe that this is such a complicated process
did it all, and all ended when "fuse" doesnt appear as an option
Restart Resolve again. Worked for me
good job
Thanks
1:05 how to do that from your iPad?
Talk about an overly complex process. In Openshot editor (which is lacking in many ways, I know) you can just click and select "waveform". But thanks for the tutorial mate.
unsuported file type at reload stage, but is wav... 🤷♂
Neat. So I followed your directions to the letter (which would be easier if you actually graced us with some pauses during transitions so we can ACTUALLY MOVE IN LINE WITH YOUR STEPS EASIER) and the fuses menu is not there. I double checked to make sure audio waveform is installed and running. it is. So what the heck?
Fuse is not showing up as an option unfortunately.
I restarted DaVinci after installation of Fusion Reactor->AudioWaveform and Fuse has appeared
@@emsqrer thanks it did the trick for me
There has to be a better way to do this in Resolve without it also causing your export to grind to a halt (I say this without knowing how by the way, I'm saying it from a point of ignorance)
It takes a while to export. The better way is to use Adobe After Effects
too loooong
For such poor result, i rather like to download a green screen, they willl be absolute no difference except that i wouldn t lose hours achieving visual that was invented 40 years ago and still not pre build in Davinci studio in 2024
garbage process for the first one... now I gots the shitty software on my computer.
