I understand why she loves to tour and talk to others who value history My husband and I shared a love of history. We were so lucky to have each other.

I watched and remembered this show, so that I found this clip I will share Ms. Kearns Goodwin words so that people better understand what temperament means... it is not about restraining from spewing insults, and it is definitely not about winning and becoming successful...we have it all wrong...

Temperament is the predictability of manner with which one presents one's self. Sometimes it is simply a person's make-up; for people that have books written about them, it is more often based upon how a person publicly acts or reacts to external stimuli. When we are witness to a person under great stress the most accurate representation of temperament arises. Conversely, it can also be manufactured and disingenuous.

Theodore Roosevelt could read a book a day because he didn’t have C-SPAN or UA-cam !

I love DJ-G! She makes history fun and contemporary.
However, she used the word "accolade" when she should hv said "accolyte".
Observation not criticsm. Just to prove I was paying attention😁

I had high hopes after her Roosevelts and Lincoln books, but the TR/Taft one was a tremendous bore.
