Great demo... these signature preamps tech 21 makes are sooooo versatile
What I really like on the Tech21 bass pedals is that they are primarly designed to work as a very good clean bass preamp and then you can add distortion to your taste. I think this is more versatile and is an advantage compared to other pedals e.g. Darkglass which are focused to always on distortion and more modern sounds
Man a few of those clean tones are nice and phat.

It's just "preset 2" from what I understand.

Sounds really good, very good demo! Would be interested to see the tuner demoed too, though. Is channel two identical in terms of gain?
The two channels are identical and share the same tone stack. Basically can set two gain and level amounts and switch between them.
One question, with SH1 pedal would it be necessary to add a compressor pedal?
Or the SH1 already adds some compression and it wouldn't be necessary?

It adds some compression to the signal. Basically the whole thing works a bit like an old school tube amp - the more gain you crank, the more compressed it becomes. If you set the gain to 3pm or even higher, the compression gets noticeable. However, if you would rather prefer to stay on the clean side, then an additional compressor pedal is never a bad idea.
What kind of bass guitar do you use ?
