Hi, A mail was saved in the drafts in the Outlook mail box. Client got an alert regarding outbound mail. however its not sent to any other mail ids. Now the mail was permanently deleted (Even from Recover items). Can the server team track this mail ? Can the team recover the mail with attachment? Please give me suggestions..

Hey, you say ... error code starting with 200 is ok. I think you should rephrase and say status code. Error codes would start with another figure, say 400, 300, etc...

My boss asked me how mail works and i said smtp. he was like ok but how does it work and i was like uhhhhhhhhhhhhh.................................................... mail servers look for other servers with DNS? ? ? and yea so now im here and i understand! epic TY

Too bad your example of internal delivery to gmail.com doesn't work (there is always an MX resolution while sending from Google Accounts). It would have been true with an exchange server though.
