Also, being a Goalkeeper is very hard mentally. Anticipation, communication, concentration, decision making, all important attributes. You have to be switched on for 90 minutes. No slacking. That’s before you get to things like positioning, agility, sprinting etc. A single error can lose your team the game. That alone is pressure enough. It’s a tough gig.
The goalkeeper is usually the guy who sucks at playing Football 😂

I play as a semi pro goal keeper, and irl those goals are massive and you got to have good coordination, yea there was some really easy saves in this match but other than that playing in goal is one of the hardest positions

GoalKeeping isn’t easy, the goal is bigger than you think and predicting the ball is hard. And your reflexes/agility has to be top notch. This was a great game with big UA-cam celebs.

I do feel bad for the way goalies don't get much chances at saving the team. Sometimes the ball is passed too high and being a goalie is a easy concept, but it's harder to predict where the ball is going. You don't know the power being used

Soccer one of the most physically demanding sports. You need to be in top tier shape in order to be able to play a full game. It’s a combination of cardio,strength, speed. You really need to be very well rounded.
