From a goalkeeper's perspective they expected the back pass. Defender didn't have full vision of the entire field unlike the GK, which is why the GK offered himself so high on the pitch. Instead of the back pass the defender gave the ball away to the offensive player, who took two steps and shot. If you lose sight of the ball as the goal keeper between the moment the striker intercepts and the moment they shoot, you already lost. Walking backwards like they did there is kinda their only option. I think if they had kept walking it could have looked closer, but there's simply no saving that one if it's placed well enough as a GK. So obviously in the moment you're frustrated because you offered to help someone out of a sticky situation and they now made you look bad because of it. Obviously the match had a lot of weak goalkeeping moments but I don't think this is one of those. I definitely think both teams had at least 3 semi-pro worthy goals each with the Tobi assist obviously being the one that could have existed in a pro football match.
