Wonderful craftsmanship but I absolutely recommend knotting at the end of the braid. If you desire to wash your style regularly or are swimming you MUST do several slip knots at the end. Especially for only 16 inches, there should most certainly be knotting, or slipping will occur.
I really didn't get it wet but for the two weeks I've been wearing it, it's still holding firm.

That’s what I’m worried about. Hours of braiding only to have it slide out would be devastating for me. My braids have unraveled with knots put in place so I’m afraid of this. I also oil my scalp which creates more slip
@lesliehunter5899 I experienced no slippage. I kept mine in 4 weeks and it didn't unravel at all, and that's with no knots.
