Just did this technique on my own hair cause i was not about to pay $300+ for this style 😭😭 It came out so cute and it didn’t take too long! Thank you againnnn!
I have been asking braid shops all around my town to do this EXACT method for a good minute! I’ve given up, about to get someone to part my hair and do it myself!
The parts are perfectly sized considering its all human hair and the volume of the end result was perfect. More braids means more hair used and more time.@@dreamlocs
I've been seeing nothing but people using ywigs hair. This is the easiest method to follow, especially since she has shorter hair, so I can see how you added length. All the other videos I watched, people had long hair and only used the hair for the curl part. I love this video and definitely will try this method ❤
If the human hair is still in great shape, you just cut the knot (Like the little strand that is tied around the braid) . And start to unravel the braid. I hope that makes sense. If not I can create a short explaining it
Beautiful video, but I feel that this technique only works for a specific texture of hair and wouldn’t work as well with 4C or kinky hair unless a lot of product is used.
Sorry for my super late response 😩 yes the technique would work very well in you hair. But if you plan on getting it wet I would suggest adding a little bit of braiding hair
Wrap your hair every day. I suggest splitting the hair done the middle and putting it in a loose twist and tucking it all in your bonnet. Every morning when you wake up. Unravel the twist and finger detangle the hair (separate the curls from the braid). Every 3 days detangle the hair with a brush that has the balls at the end but finish wet the hair down. Add in a moose or light weight leave in conditioner. I like the lotta body mousse.
I got this done, and all the extensions that were added pass my natural hair slipped out when I washed my hair for the first time. If you want braids longer than your natural hair, you need to add synthetic braiding hair (which I’m allergic too) or some type of kinky straight or kinky curly human bulk hair (which my braider is going to use next time).
Did she tie the ends after putting the extensions pass your natural hair. I tie and use my crochet hook to secure the knot. And I take down my clients hair. None have slipped.
Lol yes 😊 because it was less braids! But it all depends on fullness you want if you want it fuller. I would say 3 bundles. But if you don’t 2 bundles is good ✨
@@dreamlocsthank you. I am still confused 😕. When you say 7 rows in the back, it only looks like 3 in the video or am I confusing myself? Also from ear to ear, how many braids does she have in the first line? I want to try this hairstyle on myself but am not following how the lines are done or parted
@@lynnd.5135 Ohhh ok I get what your saying now 😊 so it 7 rows total. There is 3 rows under the ear. 3 braids for the first row 4 braids for the second row 5 braids for the third row 10 braids for the fourth row 9 braids for the fifth row 8 braids for the sixth row And the seventh row is only at the top 4 braids on each side
I think u end up losing a good amount of hair on take down….u waste a lot of hair just installing tbh. But if u Can use even a fraction it’s a good way to save money the next time. Also, i steam my braid and the little pieces sticking out curl and show less. I always cut my real hair when i trim up the length of the braids
You would have to cut the curl at the bottom of the braid (only the little piece that is knotted at the bottom not the whole curl at the bottom) and unbraid.
I know. I just went to the braid shop on Sunday. I was told they can’t braid with the human hair ONLY. I told them it can be done they just don’t know how to do it‼️ This is PROOF it can be done.
@@BB-rv2lc That don't look good and human hair is already hard to braid with and especially to keep them from unravelling or sliding out. Then you're adding pieces that are thick They will slide off. The thicker the human hair braid the easier they come out or unravell. They really should be small.
@@tinacollier1447 I showed the braider this video. She insisted that it was synthetic hair. SMH. I told her that she clearly sees it is human and again either she don’t know how to do or didn’t want to do. Your work is beautiful.

my question is (i hope i get a response) if you want to reuse the human hair, how do you get that tied knot out?
