Using crayons to color candles is a great way to experiment. Although it’s not recommended to use crayons in candle making because of wick clogging etc you did great on this diy. Your candles turned out pretty.

Thank you for sharing your video. Its one of few that mention using non-flammable embeds. Are the florals a fire hazard? Or are they far enough away from the wick? How do you work out how much gel wax to melt?
I place them alongside the glass , not near the center, i have a software which converts water wt into wax wt, ,then you can weigh the same on a digital scale😊

hii, so I want to make a little character and put it into the candle (where you put the stones).
i was thinking of making the character from some sort of modeling clay. (maybe even paint the clay)
Would the clay melt or be damaged my the heat of the wax?

Sure dear, you can do that, painted clay characters will look amazing and only damage when the candle is burning its last stage , do share your experience 😊

Yes you can use essential oils, they add a beautiful fragrance and are very relaxing.

Hi Bexoro, the candle will burn until it reaches the ornaments placed at the bottom, then the flame will go off, inflammable ornaments should be placed alongside the glass so that they do not come directly in contact with the flame. 😊

You can sprinkle dried flowers on top, after pouring, if you will put them inside the jar, they won't be able to withstand hot temperature of wax while pouring 😊

You are absolutely right, double boiler is the right way to do it as wax will not turn too hot and bubbles will be mininal while pouring 😊 i was a beginner when i made this video

Hi Shyla, if you want to make these, then please go ahead. They look amazing. Avoid placing paper decorations or plastic objects at the bottom, as they can catch fire. Otherwise nothing happens and the flame goes off once it reaches pebbles, stones etc. Doubtful decorations should only be pasted along the sides of the glass, that way they won't come in direct contact with the flame. No dear, its gel wax only. I just layered it with colored gel wax ,then transparent one without color

Add the fragrance oil to the gel below 60°C and stir for 2-3 min😊

I have gotten assigment to make gel candle but the gel wax i brought leave only bubble
Please make sure to use high quality wax, while heating the temperature should not exceed 85°C and while pouring make sure to pour slowly 😊 hope this info helps

Gel candles generally do not have scents as mixing of oil fragrances with gels is difficult 😊

Trim your wick to about 6mm before burning. Make sure the jar is medium sized and not to small for the wick size,
