I am Absolutely in love with your filmmaking and your voice. Maxim, do the audio book thing. You could make a fortune... I would listen to you every night...❤❤❤
I like your frankness. Never throw beef in fire like that, especially for 40 minutes. Makes the meat tough. Next time, just fry it. Veggies like potatoes 🥔 takes longer to cook, so maybe next time wrap them up in separate foil and then cook it earlier than the rest of the veggies. Bring salt & pepper & oil like Xander, so marinate. That turtle 🐢 was so dirty. So sweet how fast it crawled back into the waters.
Just gets better and better! 😍 The opening 32 seconds were lovely. I could have watched 10 minutes of that - just your arrival at your campsite and what you saw and heard upon getting there. Then you did it again from 5:00 to 5:50. You really have a knack for finding lovely shots and letting us have a good chance to look at what you have chosen to capture with your camera. 7:00 to 7:42 -- ahhhh 😍 so beautiful, and then you shared your turtle visitor with us. Loved it!
Beautiful video once again. Love to see your experiences. We grow along with your journey. Cooking- trial by error, it’s always evolving. A person of your eye, talents, perseverance; it will come along nicely no doubt. All the best!
Thank you, my friend. I see your picture is from Mt Katahdin? I haven't done any hiking there yet - closest I've come is NH - hopefully in the near future! Cheers
Thank you for sharing your food adventuress... looked good. I always like to know what's cooking and how it's made. Beautiful area; would have like to seen more of the area and maybe watch you do some fishing. Thank you for sharing!
I like how laid back your Videos are , very unscripted and just winging it. Nature always captivates me , even creatures like the turtle. Don't have them here in Alberta. Dont know how appropriate it is to mention other UA-camrs , you can delete my comment if you wish. Have you ever watched any of " Foresty Forest" Video's. I dont consider him a Van Lifer , he's all about about Climbing Mountains and Back Backing. In my wood shop I have his Video's playing all day. Like you he has a very laid back calming demeanour and a good guy. His Videography is outstanding. Today in my shop I will play your Video's all Day. Very calming and just feels good you genuinely love what your doing and have full appreciation of the Wilderness. I admire that.
A beautiful piece of videography. Your appreciation for the beauty that surrounds you at every turn is evident. That shot with the water rippling so gently with the sun's reflection was magical. As a painter who does a lot of landscapes, your videos are very inspiring.
Beautiful camping spot!! So peaceful. For cheesesteaks, if you use chuck, it can take 2 hours to tenderize. If you use steak, 10 minutes. You’re cooking in foil, you’d have to put your meat package on after the onions and peppers. Or cook it in a pan or small Dutch oven. Then you can cook in stages. Very relaxing video! Thank you.
My favourite to do this year has been to get a nice cool drink, maybe something else, sit out in the summer house in my backyard and watch you, your brother, Brad, or Lost Lakes while listening to the birds sing here. Wish I could get out there, keep it up! Love your videos man.
@@maximbudnick nice. got to keep up to date first but almost every video had some improvements compared to the video before. well almost because its objective and you cant have nice shots of wildlife all the time...
Very enjoyable, relaxing overnighter. Thanks! We all struggle with wrapping at first. The old "bursting burrito syndrome". Keep trying and you will get smarter instead of the other thing. 😉 I assume this was crown land, but that was a pretty posh site and I saw a little blue sign in the background. Are there maintained sites, trails, etc. on crown land?
This was actually a unadministered provincial park on a relatively easy to access lake so it was worked in for sure. There are definitely maintained crown land sites and trails to various degrees but not necessarily maintained by the MNR. It all depends what the crown land is being used for ( logging, snowmobiles ect). All the best!
Beautiful video of beautiful natural setting. You were right, I think, to spend more time taking your time, immersed in what touched you rather than to power through to your original goal. Ending seemed a bit abrupt, though. Would love to hear more of you and the others conversation sharing your insights and experiences.
I think that turtle just wanted some of that delicious Philly cheese steak you cooked :p
He was looking for something...
🤝
Xander mandou uma mensagen, mas não entendi muita coisa!!!

Thanks for watching, Lewis!
Thank goodness for Xander, Xander, and I think there's another Xander. I'm subscribed to all of them.
haha
I laughed out loud when you went back to get your camera and show us the turtle. He was like: "Oops, I've been caught." :p
Such a lovely little fellow wasn't he?
Snapping Turtle wanted some of your food ! Can they smell food ????? Lol
I don't know, but I'm starting to think that turtle had just come out of hibernation because of how muddy it was

Thanks for the tips! Yes a dirty turtle, looked primordial

Fun fact: Maxim Budnick also one of Wilhelmina model. 👏

Great video. Take 2 long pieces of foil and join them together by make some small folds. This way you’ll have a larger piece to place your food in.
Great tip! Thanks for the info
Hello my friend!
Hello, thanks for watching!
I'm the same way, never let food cook long enough because I'm impatient.
:)
Beware of rocks that walk into your camp. 😲
:)

Pretty much anything tastes good outdoors right Max?! Tinfoil meals are great way to go :-)
I agree though I might have managed to defy that principle once or twice... Haha. Cheers!

Thanks for your honest feedback David! helps me know what I am doing right and wrong.
Better be building your Bug out shelter. No Food to be found by late October. People are going to go mad like MAD MAX!
Thanks for watching Shane
Xander using enough salt for both of you two haha
Haha ya he would
If you wanted to refrigerate the cheese, I guess you could seal double bagged and hang in the water?
Sounds interesting! thanks for the tip
Love the videos. What type of camera and microphone do you use for these?
Thanks! Camera - Sony RX 100, Microphone - Rode Video Micro
