Cops were using Google maps to see who had pools. Next day cops asked neighbor across the street. He has a trampoline back there. Looks like pool from a sattelite.
It is perfectly avoidable. You just turn on tracking in windows, and connect it to your account. You can quickly wipe it before sale, and customer doesn't see a difference. Then they can check serial number that was stolen, match ip, and you have a pinpoint location of dude's home. And no more free pc for him, for the next 5 years or so.

The only way would be to somehow implement a tracking software into BIOS which i doubt the did as they probably didn't touch the pc except it being built and working, or they can put an AirTag (that he can hopefully not see) to track him, but other than that, that PC is gone forever, with whatever peripherals he took.

So, 3 911 calls in a couple of minutes. 6 cruisers show up. They caught the Amish in about 10 minutes. He was on something. Next day, DA's office calls me. Catch and release arraignment. Get a mental health evaluation. Come back in August. Oh, and don't go into that neighborhood again. He hit someone elses backyard. Told the cops he left a backpack by a pool. Cops were using Google maps to see who had pools. Next day cops asked neighbor across the street. He has a trampoline back there. Looks like pool from a sattelite.

I would recommend that you put some heavy concrete flower pots/planters in front of the door so people can’t run a car through the door like he did.
Bollards might not be allowed by the strip mall owner. The method the thieves use with bollards (poles, tall concrete curbs, or planters) is to steal a truck and then tie a chain to your security gate or aluminum framing post. They yank out the gate and then yank out the metal window frame or door frame. Your bollard post might even give them leverage if they use a pulley hooked to the bollard.

@@hydra161They can never possibly catch, if you see very closely you can see him wearing kinda red glove, face covered (unlike movies, IRL you can't find ppl with just 1/3 of somebody's face, PC wasn't even setup, and still has to be set up through BIOS so there is no way to track a basically Un existing PC (in the software part).
The only way would be to somehow implement a tracking software into BIOS which i doubt the did as they probably didn't touch the pc except it being built and working, or they can put an AirTag (that he can hopefully not see) to track him, but other than that, that PC is gone forever, with whatever peripherals he took.
