Only if that's all he did, but even then it's an interesting image. What is your website with your work on it? With a username like that, I'm not expecting anything, but I would say your question is as relevant to good photography as me asking the chef what brand of pots and pans he used to cook my delicious meal.@@Anon54387

These videos (all of them, including the 30-minute long how a film is developed) don’t feel like “UA-cam” videos. They are mini-documentaries filled with information, stories and humour. Thanks to Biz’s directing them and Alan’s non-pretentious commentary, they are a breeze to watch. Please make more! ❤

Thanks for all the videos Alan. I've been taking photos for almost 50 years, as a profession. But thanks to you, I'm back to my roots. I had M4, M6 in the good times of the film. For work, weddings and events, I use other brands, but finally I have the M11, after years of piggy bank, you know I have 2 daughters, I have 68 years old, but the joy of photography has remained within me, it's like a drug. I hope one day you can come to my little island, where I was born and where I live, Capri, and Maestro Allan would do beautiful things. A dear greetings from Capri, an

Just discovered this channel on my way of building an opinion to buy a monochrom camera (shooting B&W anyway in 99 % of my projects). However - this is not only information sharing on street photography - it's humorous, it's inspiring and motivating to take the cam, go out and shoot. I never was asked to "like" and "Subscribe" in this winking way. Allan is passionate on photography - I believed that within seconds. THANK YOU !

Met a few street photographers at the Seattle St. Patrick’s day parade today. I did a number of reflection shots. Reflections are like juxtaposition. It was there before you owned a camera. You probably never saw them. Then it was pointed out to you and now you see them everywhere. The same thing with reflections. Thank you Alan for showing us how to seek reflective surfaces. They are around us waiting to be used by us. This is a great gift.
I will reveal my favorite reflection sight. The main branch of the Seattle public library has a reflective surface on the overhang on 4th avenue. As the roof is on the 2nd floor a long lens is required. I brought the Fuji 135mm specifically for these shots. I am one of the few Seattle photographers I’ve seen do this shot. This is similar to your tip#7 location.
Something that is good to know about about reflections is that they are, or can be, related to your aperture. You see the reflection. In your EVF the reflection may or may not be there. You will have to find the right aperture that allows your sensor to see what your eyes are seeing. This is simple enough with a mirrorless camera because the EVF works on the WYSIWYG principle. With a DSL you’ll have to guess at your setting and take a picture to see what your sensor is seeing. Simple enough.
You definitely have earned your 00 rating. License to kill, or at least capture people’s images (in some Native American cultures that is the same thing) with your Leica. Errant thought. Britain uses the metric system. How many liters is a pint?

Awesome channel, just found it, via YT recommendation. My weirdest reflection was a self-portrait from a faucet in the bathroom in the hotel I was staying. And a self-portrait of a reflection in a car side mirror that was a reflection of a car window.

    Very enjoyable watch!
I'm a big fan of the 180-degree flip, especially around bodies of water, giving a painterly rendering.
From this video, the use of a cell phone screen reminded me that 40 years ago, I had a Cokin filter system that had a mirror that you could insert into a frame/hood on the lens that could be positioned and angled for exactly this type of shot. I had completely forgotten about it, but next time out, I'm going to try that phone trick.
