    @krhprodctionz Well, if Elway truly wants to help Tebow, like he says, than Tebow definitely has the advantage. That advantage is Elways experience with timing routes and footwork. That is really Tebow's weakness. The Broncos shouldn't mess with his throwing motion as it could affect his development and cause him to think to much before the play and could lead to major mistakes.

    Yes they should have. #1 he was a hometown pick #2 could you imagine Tebow and MJD as a running tandem?? I mean really?? you though Tebow and McGahee were good, MJD would've been amazing with Tebow. Plus they could've added Anquan Boldin in free agency. Amazing! #3 let's take a look at who the Jags have had at QB sense they could've drafted Tebow; David Garrard (at the end of his career no less), Trent Edwards, Blaine Gabbert, Chad Henne and Blake Bortles.. you cannot seriously tell me any of those guys were better then Tebow. I mean the only one of those guys we even remember is Gabbert because his play was on bad it was note worthy #4 the 10th overall pick was Tyson Alualu... the #1 QB that year was Sam Bradford... Tebow is much better than both and therefore the Jags would've been totally justified in drafting him at #10.
    In conclusion, this is the single worse missed opportunity in Jags history, a missed opportunity on parole with that of Buffalo in 1999 with Doug Flutie, and the indirect reason Jack Del Rio was fired. The Jags actually could've been relevant

      Blaine gabbert was a mile better then Tebow I want you to do something his 2nd year 2012 season vs the Vikings the first game go to that you see how good Gabbert was supposed to be you see why he was picked in the first and all while this is happening you keep seeing him taking the roughest and most hardest and I mean HARDEST shots I’ve seen in 4th he is beat that oline is not helping one bit but he delivers a mf strike with 20 seconds left around a 50 yard strike at that should have won the game I think maybe got a 2pt conversion to go up by 3 and somehow our sorry ass defense let us down and people blame gabbert for his career that line never fucking helped him he was like the most sacked qb his rookie year you sound dumb saying Tebow a wanna be qb who couldn’t beat butt fumble mark out the job is better your fr need help if you think that at best running back was better then a man who got tore down by his own line

    • @TheCynicogue

      Cap Baby Blaine gabbert has a 9-31 record. Tebow almost beat that (7-4, plus a a playoff win) in one year.

    @MrTommyg024 And the reason his completion rating is so low is because he doesn't go for short passes. If you pay attention you would know that he has to most pass attempts for pass that are 15+ yards. And its common sense that they further you get away from the line of scrimmage the lower the completion rate will be. When he has the chance to pass he always tries for the home run shot. And when he runs or passes for the the winning touchdown, it has everything to do with him.

    As bad as Jacksonville is they just dropped over 40 points on my Bucaneers. I don't know whats going on with my team. We should have got Tebow instead of McCoy

  • @krhprodctionz
    @krhprodctionz 12 років тому +1

    @gb6710 PS I'm not sure if you can call what Fox and Elway did "sabotaging" when they radically altered their offense in the middle of the season to accommodate Tebow's skill set

  • @krhprodctionz
    @krhprodctionz 12 років тому +1

    @gb6710 You obviously didn't watch the Jags this year (tho I don't blame you if you didn't). Lewis signed his big contract with the team in the free agent window and promptly checked out, dropping a ton of passes along the way. Otherwise, we didn't have a #1 or a #2 receiver on our roster. Any wideout we pick in the first two days of the draft will immediately become the #1 target on this team

  • @krhprodctionz
    @krhprodctionz 12 років тому

    Yeah, because NFL teams should build their rosters based on marketing appeal, and not football compatibility... fact is, nobody outside of Denver had him pegged as a first-rounder in that year's draft, and outside of Colt McCoy, he still has the least upside out of all the starting QBs that have been drafted in the last two years
    But it's okay, we can pretend like the Jaguars intentionally skipped Tebow so they can move to LA more quickly, which ESPN and NBC insist they're doing

  • @krhprodctionz
    @krhprodctionz 12 років тому +1

    @gb6710 And I reiterate again... Tebow is throwing to the likes of D Thomas and Decker, while Gabbert counts a bunch of practice-teamers as his receivers. Talk about drops all you want, but as far as I can remember, BG would have at least three more TD passes to his name if his wideouts/tight ends were any good

  • @NasirPremier904
    @NasirPremier904 12 років тому

    Jaguars messed up big time by not drafting Tebow.
    Now our franchise is a couple years back on building itself back up.
    You pick a random guy(Alualu) over a hometown hero(Tebow)? I was so pissed watching the dradt that year. Smh

  • @gb6710
    @gb6710 12 років тому

    @krhprodctionz And what exactly is a normal NFL offense? Just about every team runs a different offense. Hell, almost half of the QBs rarely line up behind the center unless they are going to run the ball.

  • @krhprodctionz
    @krhprodctionz 12 років тому

    @gb6710 so when Tebow fails so miserably while trying to run a normal NFL offense in his SECOND year in the NFL, it's passed off "growing pains"... but when Gabbert makes rookie mistakes while throwing to a shit receiving corps after having no offseason because of the lockout, he's automatically a bust, and the Jags have made a monumental error?

  • @LAdamJ1

    Blaine Gabbert is 6-19 as as a starter

    @emersonvestal yep so was I, i left a little into the 3rd quarter. I wish they had tebow....

  • @gb6710
    @gb6710 12 років тому

    @krhprodctionz And who is Tebow throwing too? He was in the same position, but Tebow is the better player and works harder. If Tebow fails, it will be his own fault. If and when Gabbert fails, it will be his fault to.

  • @gb6710
    @gb6710 12 років тому

    @krhprodctionz I wouldn't be surprised if Gabbert is replaced by Tebow, especially since Tebow went to the playoffs and beat the Steelers. What did Gabbert do? Consistently missed receivers that were wide open. Sure, Tebow did that, but quite a lot of his incompletions were due to the receiver dropping them.

    Man Jaguars really messed up on this. They could’ve had the hometown hero. Dudes a winner, never got a chance sadly. But proven winner has a playoff win. Either way, he would’ve brought fans to the stadium.

    @gb6710
    Every NOW and THEN, OF COURSE a QB and team gets lucky (or unlucky).
    But the fact is, nearly every game Tebow has won has been surrounded by some bizarre circumstance that had NOTHING to do with him.
    He's less than a 50% passer and he goes 7-4 in the regular season. In today's NFL, it doesn't really equate.
    But he did play very well vs. Pittsburgh. Maybe he can use that as a jumping off point.

  • @krhprodctionz
    @krhprodctionz 12 років тому

    @gb6710 You're forgetting that there are no Thomas's and Decker's on the Jags... get Gabbert a few receivers who can actually catch the ball (Michael Floyd, etc) and he'll be a better quarterback just because of it
    Not to mention that he had no offseason due to the lockout, wasn't even supposed to start until the Jags' front office f'd up the Garrard ordeal, yet he still showed some signs of developing into a solid starter after being thrown into the wolves early

  • @gb6710
    @gb6710 12 років тому +1

    @krhprodctionz So you think that a star player cannot have a bad year? Regardless of how he preformed this year, he is still the second best utility tight end. I stick by my comment saying that Lewis is better than any receiver that the Broncos have. And did you watch any Broncos game? Fox constantly went conservative during long stints during the game, 2-3 quarters at instead of playing to Tebow's abilities. He isn't a drop back QB, he is a shotgun QB and can be a great one.

    alright il admit i love alualu. But how do you skip over Tebow?! ya alot of people said he wont be a good nfl quarterback and some still say that but you gotta take a chance here and there. Look what tebow is doing for Denver! hes getting wins! thats what we need here in jacksonville!

  • @krhprodctionz
    @krhprodctionz 12 років тому +2

    @gb6710 Everything you said about Tebow and the Broncos in the second half of that post could also be said about Gabbert and the Jags... they're both young QBs who are prone to making young QB mistakes, and who are also playing with great running backs. And fair enough if you think Lewis is that good or that he hasn't checked out for as long as his contract is guaranteed, but he won't be making any more Pro Bowls if he keeps it up like this, either

  • @DTWD904
    @DTWD904 12 років тому

    I dont think not picking tebow was a monumental mistake but give gabbert time...ill give a non jaguar fan $20 if they can name 3 let alone 1 receiver on our team thats playing (without a google search) i mean all gabbert has is jones drew and mecades lewis and lewis hasnt been playing well at all this year. Just give gabbert some time and more importantly GOOD COACHING haven't had that since tom coughlin

    @The904scooby Alualu has become a pretty serviceable player but the Jags
    should've known that he's no Nadakong Suh,BTW!!!!

  • @gb6710
    @gb6710 12 років тому

    @sanjosesharks65 Those QBs, the HOFers, put up sold numbers when the defense had the advantage. They were more talented and were better prepared for the NFL game. Gabbert was supposed to be the most NFL ready of any QB in the draft, what happened? He broke under pressure. People criticize Tebow because of his completion rating, Gabbert was only 3 % better;Tebow has stats were it counts, wins. And why would I marry a male?

  • @gb6710
    @gb6710 12 років тому

    @MrTommyg024 So a QB can get lucky now and again? The fact is he took his team from a 1-3 start and when 7-4. Sure, his defense helped a lot, but he is the one that threw and scored touchdowns. With the exception Matt Prater in the Chicago game. Any way, you saying that is like say early Tom Brady did nothing for his team in his first two Super Bowl seasons. Tebow is one of the big reasons they are winning.

  • @gb6710
    @gb6710 12 років тому

    @MrTommyg024 So a winning record as a starting QB doesn't equate in the NFL? I would rather have a ugly win than a pretty lose. Stats don't mean shit when you are winning. And I already knew he could play like that because I spent four years watching him do it at Florida. He is a good QB, not great, but good. He can make quality passes, but he need good receivers around him; not ones that drop it. And his receivers drop several passes.

    blane gabbert is just a joke and has no itfactor, 0 confidence, and for a guy who supposely has a "strong arm", he never shows it. Just lost his starting job to Chad Henne. Awful.!

    There's a difference between being a crappy rookie and just being absolute dog shit...if Gabbert is under center for an NFL team week 1 of next season...that team deserves no fans.

  • @Novinte
    @Novinte 12 років тому

    @sanjosesharks65 True, even Elway looked badddd on his rookie year, but Gabbert is SOFT man. =(

  • @gb6710
    @gb6710 12 років тому

    @sanjosesharks65 He was still better than Gabbert. Sam Bradford, Cam Newton, Andy Dalton, Fran Tarkenton, Dan Marino, and Joe Namath have all played better than Gabbert. Am I being unfair to Gabbert b comparing him to some HOF QBs and some other good rookie QBs? No, to be considered the best, you have to be compared to the best.

  • @gb6710
    @gb6710 12 років тому

    @MrTommyg024 He has more wins then your QB.

  • @gb6710
    @gb6710 12 років тому +1

    @krhprodctionz Really? Thomas and Decker are the two worst starting receivers in the NFL. Most of the time they couldn’t catch a cold in a snow storm in Siberia. And Lewis is better than any receiver that Tebow has. The Jags have the best blocking/receiving tight end in the NFL behind Vernon Davis and that is saying a lot. And you talk about development? Tebow succeeded despite the front office trying to sabotaging him at every step.
