The book is also the account of the Court Jester "Mushroom." The more realistic recollections come from the Maester and the wild stories or the "Tea." Comes from Mushroom. It's a smart way of writing IMO.

Correct. But she could still admit that she was wrong and make an attempt to stop the conflict even if she fails. The fact that she does neither of these things reveals her true character.

Harrenhal had JUST been finished when Aegon the Conqueror showed up and burned it. It was expensive to make and they ain’t feel like going through all that again so they just didn’t bother with it🤣.
I’m so glad Tasha said that about the book. So many complain about the show not following the books. First of all, it’s based on ONE book. Second GRRM wrote it in a specific way because it’s two sides telling what happened. Lastly the show is telling you what actually happened, that’s why GRRM is heavily involved
The producers has confirmed that 3 of those dragon eggs that Rhaenyra Targaryen sent away with Daemon's daughter along with her two babies are the same dragon eggs that belong to Daenerys in Game of Thrones. 😉

Sir Lionel Strong was the father of Break Bones and also Larys, the one who keeps giving all of the gossip to Alicent.. he was the hand of the king and he also was the Lord of Harrenhal. That other Lord Strong is Lionels uncle, who is now head of the family. They are no relation to Sam Tarly. Also, the last name Rivers is the name of the bastards for that area thr Ctownlands. Snow is the bastard name of the children in the north. Also Tully is the last name of Caitlin Stark's family.

This was an interesting episode. Moondancer is gorgeous! Loved the green and white coloring. But I'm waiting for the actual war part. I get the point in trying to avoid it but I'm over it. They even skipped a battle this episode. I'm hoping it all finally starts next episode. Now Rhaenyra knows for a fact her father never changed his mind, so she can be more resolute.
Also, Sam's people are the Tarly's. That's why it reminded you of Tully.
They skipped the battle so they didn’t waste money on a conflict without a single named character. Also did you see the preview for next episode? We are about to get maybe the craziest action in the entire series including game of thrones. Dragon versus dragon warfare will be bonkers.
the battle itself wasnt important. It was the start and the end of it that mattered so why waste budget on it when they could go to the full battles?
I can't wait for next episode, but I'm also apprehensive because I think we're going to lose a favorite; hope I'm wrong.😢😢

@@honey_rae_amour Tell too many people, what would be the reason for her not to tell her? And why would Rhaenys be upset that she sent Rhaena to Pentos, out of harms way? In that conversation between Rhaenys and Corlys, she says I wished Rhaena farewell. Rhaenys tells Corlys that they are at war and much like Rhaenyra has given Rhaena the task of insuring her line and planning for the future and the worst, Rhaenys is trying to do the same by having their affairs in order.

in the books, rhaenyra had a friend with her at dragonstone who decides she can't be separated from the sea any longer, and sails off to pentos but not before stealing her dragon eggs first. Rather than introduce a whole new character never seen in season 1, it looks like they gave the egg plot to Rhaena which meant the sacrifice of her getting a dragon

Man! Your edit on this episode was a disappointment. You skipped some huge moments! You cut the meat out of the prince that was promised reveal. And also cut out Aegon teasing and shaming Aemond in the pleasure house, something that will surely affect things. Still ❤ ya'll tho!

13:43 Yeah they can fight. However, the KG are supposed to be the best warriors in the realm and I doubt Aegon’s frat bros are that. But unless the character is young, disabled in some way(like Larys and Tyrion), or just really not suited to arms(Tyrion, Tommen, Vaegon from the books), they will know how to fight if they’re a male noble. Noble men trained their entire lives for war. They had the time to do so, because they had serfs doing all the damn work. Serfs weren’t slaves, but we would definitely consider them to be some version of a slave. Lord’s manors were like company towns from hell but worse.
