Thank you ! Dealership wanted 90 dollars for them to do this
You're Welcome!
Yep same!
Very reasonable price. Should have been $300 😊
Damn what a scam bruv
I’M Doing this as a dealership tech watching this video lol
Main thing you mentioned that no one else did is that the airflow sign should be facing downwards 🙌
I just changed mine on nissan altima 2021. As I am 35 weeks pregant it was a bit challenging to get the bottom screws (bump was on the way lol) but i got it!
I like doing simple things on my car. Thank you so much!👌🏼
You're Welcome! Glad it helped
Happy Mother’s Day!
Nice, straight-forward, clear, concise video... and without a bunch of "uhmmm"s thrown in every third word or so. Thanks so much!
Thanks! Glad it helped
found several videos about replacing the Cabin Air Filter in a Nissan Altima. This one is by far the best. I will be using this technique (unless the dealer wants a few dollars more than the price of the filter, ya right).
Love this! Quick to the point video
Thanks a lot; very easy explanation, straight to the point, and very helpful!
You're Welcome! Glad it helped
Excellent maestro !!! Nice job partner !!!
Thank you! I really appreciate your video. It saved me $25. In the old days one could buy a shop manual to help one fix a car. By 2016 some were put on CDs. Now one has to subscribe to Nissan starting at $25 a day to get shop manual information.
You're Welcome!
Going to follow steps to save having to give dealership $90 plus tax and labor. Thanks for great view, lighting and instructions. I appreciate you. 😊
You're Welcome! Glad it helped

I know it’s an easy replacement but also very well explained thank you
You're Welcome!
Thanks for the informative video, took me about 15 minutes while chasing the dog in the garage. 😊
You're Welcome!
Thank you!
You're Welcome!
Seems like they’re making it harder for the dealer’s $ervice benefit. I had a Murano and you could simply put some pressure on one of the glove compartment slide hooks and release it to access the cabin filter. Thanks for the very good explanation and demonstration.
Thank you!!! I changed mine successfully. 10 mins the max it took .
You're welcome!
Very well made video! ... Simple and to the point. Thanks brother ✌️
Thanks! Glad it helped
Really appreciate sir...
You're Welcome!
Thank you. I just replaced my cabin filter by watching this video
You're Welcome! Glad it helped
Dealership wanted $380 to change engine air filter and cabin air filter thanks for the video
You're welcome! Glad it helped
Thank you for simple instruction on changing the cabin air filter. Why Nissan have to made it a harder to change it. My old Honda and Camry is very simple with removing the whole glove box out off the way. LOL
Glad it helped!
Thanks! Very good video! Even with a coupon the dealer wants $80.
Thanks for the support! it is appreciated!
I love it u r the best I did it watching your video and I am a women and i was able to do it 😊
Glad it helped!
Ooh gosh 😂, my Acura tsx was 10x simpler. I have to do all of this now. I think I just might opt to the dealership instead.
It be my luck I actually break something in the process. I’ll just change the one under the hood for now. But this video is very helpful. Saving this video. Thank you
You're Welcome!
Very good video, thank you no bs our Nissan dealer wanted 130.00$ to do this, how bout no. Thanks again
You're Welcome!
Thanks hermano
You're Welcome!
Thanks! Now I envy how easy it is for my son to do his Kia Forte compared to my Nissan. I hate prying parts off - always afraid something is going to snap.
I thought it was just me. The last time I changed an air filter was on my last car (2003 Camry) and it was MUCH easier than this. This is silly.
Thanks a lot. 8/02/2023 9:30AM
You're welcome!
My Santa Fe is a bit easier, no parts to take off, but i'm here to see how it done on the Altima. Judging by what the dealership wanted, I thought they were going to have to remove the whole dash.😀 This isnt as bad as their price made it seem.
has to do this to girlfriends car an hour ago! only weird bc light was hot glue it looked like to the glove box!!! thanks
You're welcome! Sounds like someone may have broke the light off at some point
Wow what a pain just to replace a cabin filter! My 2019 Honda Ridgeline you just pop the glove box down by squeezing it inwards and it comes all the way down giving access the location same as the Altima. No need to remove any panels nor screws! Why do they make it so hard for something you have to replace every single year?
Thank you just got my oil change at Nissan they told me that I need it a cabin filter change they give me 3 different prices 300 something 500 or 800 premium ect I went to AutoZone. It’s cost me for cabin filter cost me 20 bucks.
Glad it helped!
Is the engine filter and cabin filter the same filter?
I need both, but I can’t find a specific cabin filter, only the engine filter pops up when I look up cabin filter…
No - the engine air filter is located under the hood in the engine compartment
What number filter is needed for a 2021 Nissan Altima sv? I can’t find any
Caf15027c is the part number for a stp filter
Each brand of filter will have its own part number - filters can be found with just the year, make and model of the vehicle.
Is the blower motor easy to remove with a twist?
not sure - I have not changed one on these years of Altima
How often should it be changed out
in general its recommended to replace cabin filters about once a year or every 15k miles
Hello, my friend, Nissan Altima in the Gulf suffers from many errors and manufacturing defects. The quality of manufacturing materials is very poor in the air conditioning, decorations, and seats, but these problems have not been solved by the agents in the Gulf. I would like to add the email of the manufacturer in America if it exists. Thank you.
Nissan cars generally are made of poor quality materials and not as strong as Datsun.
Thank you because the dealership is trying to charge me $100 for this basic service.
You're Welcome!
Saved me $90 at Nissan Garden Grove
Nice!
Damn that's a lot... 🙄😫😩😮💨 so much easier in my 2006 Honda Civic... but cheaper than the dealership... 😅
A Nissan..... with the cabin filter *behind* the glovebox....
...that's almost unthinkable, for Nissan!
yeah much easier
They been doing that for years now at least for the Altima and lower models.
Now I know why they wanna charge so much
Wow, i thought its was going to be as simple as dropping the glove box and I didnt see anything. So now I see why... and also why they wanted $170 to change something that should be simple. Smh
It is simple. Just not as simple as other ones.
@chonpac1608 its not at all. Others dont require u to take panels and parts off. You just dropped the glove box and it was right behind it. No screwdriver or drill was needed.
What idiot at Nissan decided to make it so you have to take the glove box all the way out? On my other cars you just unclip something and the box swings down out of the way.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 f that it's frkn 2024 now they should've figure out a simpler way since 2000
unfortunately hey want you to go to the dealer
Poor design by Nissan, not so great
Thank you!
You're welcome!
