After the main villain in s3 died, she kinda became Caitlin again, then frost started appearing again. She became a good person and a part of the team, but was still kinda inside Caitlin. In s7, she separated from Caitlin and became her own person and moved in w Caitlin.
True, this is definitely among the moments like HR's death. When she dies, you get hit with her being a villain, then reforming, and dying a hero, just like Snart.

I literally started crying during this scene and then I watched this video and cried again like this was one of the saddest deaths and when they told everyone that she died everyone hugged someone while crying but they just let Caitlin fall on the floor crying but the only person who hugged her was Cecelie and Caitlin needs a break bro
Caitlin gives me Bonnie from TVD vibes, always being there for her friends, always sacrificing her own happiness to help others, the guys she’s dated always end up dead or being a villain, just like Bonnie in the end they did give her a major power up but she also ended up alone after suffering so much. I wish she would’ve ended up with Mark though it would obviously have had to be after plenty of time of both of them healing from losing frost and supporting each other as friends through the pain and difficult situations and then eventually grow feelings for each other but nope, aside from ending up alone, due to her power up making her some kind of goddess or something like that, she now has to leave her friends and really be alone.
When UA-cam spoiled this it took away from the impact I would have naturally had when I watched. I did end up watching but it wasn’t the same. Still miss Frostie.
Tbh, if her body was crashing because of excess energy, she couldve a) fired out some excess energy in the form of blasts or the team couldve thrown her back in the MAC for the energy to be extracted
