- Progressive web Applications (PWA) have been around for a while now, but only now are they starting to see real traction in eCommerce. As always, with technology getting traction, the bandwagon starts to roll. Many decide to jump and cling on even if they don’t understand what a PWA is or think they can get away with it. What makes it worse is that a PWA is not an actual specified technical architecture or framework, just a set of principles/characterises that an App/website should demonstrate.
After a fair amount of research, I came up with a way of describing when something is a PWA and a high-level set of architecture enablers for building a PWA.

Beside of the prononciation, the fact how often he said the term "P-W-Eeeeh" made that whole thing kind of annoying for me. Yes this might a video about pwas and I understand that you have to use that word, but not like 40 times in a row... At some point just tell them applications because everyone knows that you're talking about P-W-Eeeh's after being told so often.
Is that some kind of progressive magic too that when you prompt us to like the video at 2:22 the LIKE button glows in colors?
I don't think discoverability in search is a feature that is required to make a website into a pwa

PWAs are not gamechanging and they don't have benefits. STOP SPAMMING! I'll be laughing my head off when they get banned and you have nothing.
That's an interesting point of view. I havent seen anything around banning them. As they are ultimately websites using app frameworks, wrapped with service workers and a manifest file. Which part do you think will be banned? And banned from where, I guess there are ways of getting them into app stores Google has a bubble wrap process, Apple you could use a 3rd party but PWAs are avaible on the Web.so being banned their them would still be found by Google and as Google is promoting there techniques directly in lighthouse I doubt they'll get banned from chrome. Can you send me a link so I can readearch further.

You are always bashing pwa in every video but I will continue to build them .Far easier maintenance on a tight budget.You are fighting a loosing battle.
