I would say the preclinical years of medical school can be similar to undergrad, but the clinical years of medical school like clerkship year are so different! Clerkship year is definitely the hardest part of medical school.
Are you really serious? Who cares about concerts and marathon payments? Free tuition in the top 10 medical schools in the world and you want people to pay for your beer tap? If I get accepted there I'd pay a million dollars back to the school when I make that money.
Good morning! I am not sure how else to connect with you but I am interested in applying to the NYU Grossman SOM! I am going to be in the dmv area soon but I live in Houston and would love to connect with you!
Please share a tel# & link for the 7 year medical doctor degree program (includes senior year of high school and free tuition). I’ve searched months for it and couldn’t find it. Advanced thanks.
Hi there! i want to apply this med school and email there like a thousand time but all they send is a link which includes requirements and curriculum but don't answer the questions straight. I want to know, can i study online at this med school and attend the elective in my home country? Is there's any way to send special application that we want to study here online due to tons of personal reason and we can attend elective in our home country?
First Comment 😊 I live in Florida and would like to apply to NYU within 3 years. I’m a sophomore. My major so far is Biomedical Sciences but I am on the verge of changing to a Nursing Major because I want an useful degree. Do you think that’s a good idea? 🥴
Currently in nursing. Take the higher sciences in your prerequisites but that’s all you really need. I’m going from nursing to med and it will work perfectly for me :) do what you love not what you think is useful and do what makes you happy
@@rebeccahicks1623 hi 👋 I just newly relocated to US and I'm looking to study nursing but I don't know how yo go about that cause the US system is different from Nigeria so im just confused don't know where to start or how to go about it plssssssss help
Hey. What is that that you love? What is it that you want to do as a career? Focus on that instead of how 'useful' your degree will be. The Word of God says that "without a vision, the people perish." That basically means, it is important to know what YOU want to do, well really what GOD wants you to do and be so that you can have something to focus on and work towards. Don't look at the 'usefulness' of a degree. Look at what YOU want to do, talk to God about it to see if it lines up with what HE wants you to do. You don't want to end up having a 'useful' degree but not doing something that you enjoy.
There is a 3 year pathway for certain specialities if you choose to remain at NYU for residency. You can find more information here: med.nyu.edu/education/md-degree/accelerated-three-year-md
I love you videos! Just found your channel recently :-)
Shared your video with my sister - who’s a new NYU MS1 student this coming year!

Would you consider Medical school work harder then undergrad or Would you say that the workload of Medical school is what makes it difficult

Im a PA student class of 2025 , Im looking to study medicine here in the future. will working here help?
Hi, Whats the lowest GPA and MCAT they will accept?
1)Are there any cons?
2)For the things you mention like concerts and Marathons, how do you pay for those things?

would i need to go to a college for 4 yrs first and then apply for NYU?
Yes that’s for all medical schools you need an undergraduate degree with the prerequisite
This is my dream school. Is it possible to email you?
How much is housing over there for students?
Is there anyway one can reach out to you directly? Possibly an email? I have so many questions about my dream school!😅

I personally think you should stick with your major! It's easy to get all of your classes that you will need
