In this video we are back talking about the game that I'm probably going to be playing for a very long time, Remnant 2. I started off by doing some Remnant 2 tips but I feel as though there are a lot of mistakes players will make during their adventures in the game so I've put together a small list of big mistakes I think players are making in Remnant 2.
This game has been so much fun so far, it's nice to have a game come out that I can take my time about and enjoy. Remnant 2 mistakes will come along every now and then even for the most experienced players in the world, this game is just a game that does very well at mixing things up and it's not the most straight forward game to understand. Hello everyone on UA-cam, my name is Bill. I've been gaming since the age of 3 and ended up making it my career, that is how I came up with the name Born 2 Game. I am a gamer that loves playing all types of games from shooting and racing games to strategy and simulation.

"Focus on fire and bleed resist in the first world" Bro. The game is randomly generated including the starting point for the campaign. Some people might be starting in Yaesha.
I had no idea the worlds were random as well, I thought it was just the layout of each world. Nice spotting through the video but if you take away “first world” and replace it with “Losomn” you get the same answer and my footage being in “Losomn” should make that easy enough to understand
@@Born2Game they said they improve the random generation from remnant from the ashes and expand upon it so no two drop locations are the same and if within a team, they experience different scenarios in the sessions.

@@SoulUnion at least with the same rings or amulets, if you got copies they can give ya scrap. But this info and not sure if it's true, but if you get the same weapon copy, you can get a free upgrade of your previous weapon. Although I'm pretty sure the crafted ones don't count
@@Yewrenegade That's true, yes. If you do a run, and then another, and PICK UP a weapon of any kind and you have it, it'll upgrade.
I believe it only works for weapons you physically pick up off the ground, not weapons you craft.
Why hasn't ANYONE made a video explaining bulwark and the difference between damage reduction, bulwark, and armor.
The Biggest Mistake is not petting your dog if you're a handler.
Upgrading regularly can actually end up biting you in the ass bc of the same bs scaling from the first game. It's best to keep your powerlevel as low as possible, which was one of my biggest fears for this game. It's basically the same "know what build you're going for before playing then just focus on minmaxing that"-bs the first game was -.- Any character you use for organically experimenting will be rendered useless sooner or later bc any powergain that doesn't directly feed into the final build makes your final build weaker.
The fact they made it so every weapon from inv counts towards that instead of just equipped ones shows they know the system sucks. It's just there so people wouldn't make bosses cakewalks by simply equipping weaker weapons.
fun fact; it's worse than we thought. Enemies hp values get overtweaked from the powerlevel system, causing things to take longer at power level 20 than they would when you're at the area's minimum power level rating. It also heavily favors weapon upgrades over archetype levels so there's no smooth way to hit power level 14 (which would be 1 maxed weapon and 0 archetype levels). Supposedly this actually screws with the difficulties, with no weapon upgrades on Apocalypse being less difficult than a run on Veteran at the max Power Level
Imagine crying about the power level system. Just upgrade your shit 🤡
I spawned in Yesha and it was relatively a small world compared to Solumn that my partner has been spawned to. Now I’ve been to the labyrinth after I beat the great Bole
Game scales to you so upgrading is almost always a bad idea unless you literally just unlocked a new world or you're on the final boss.
Biggest mistake i made was not looking for the friends invite! Their is infact a friends invite option. You need to be on friends only session. And of course online mode.
I have rerolled a couple of times with the same character to get guaranteed tombs for trait points from Yaesha. It's quick it's easy and it levels you to the 10 as well as giving plenty mats for upgrading, and the npc with the questions means you can get both the ravager and doe traits from her.
It IS worth to make a new character when you found a hidden archetype. Some start with weapons you can't buy so you can try them and see if you like them....
strating weapons are pure garbage , who would want to try them xD ?
This is awesome! I have found 2 secrets on yaesha. I'm not above looking up a youtube tip. But finding something on your own is so rewarding. Reminds me of old Nintendo games and Gamepro hasn't released anything yet.
Especially when Fextralife's information is wrong 50% of the time.
I keep dying a lot in this game. I'm not used to that. But I have even changed starting archetypes several times. Playing on lowest difficulty. Everytime different starting world, but quests seems not randomized on campaign so far. I wish good luck and thanks for a video.

I started as Hunter (solo) and was getting killed left and right but once i started over as Handler i have been good since.

Theres these big enemies who walk slow and pull out their exploding heart to throw at you. You can hardly make a dent in them. Sometimes you just got to run away, right?(solo player got a late start at this game)
Palace with curse and then the sewers. Dual Archetype at level 9 Gunslinger with level 2 Challenger.

wow i feel really dumb, I was literally about to start a new campaign to change my main class. I only thought you could swap your sub classes, not your main also! Appreciate the advice/tips man

Thankfully I’m not guilty of any of those. 🤣👍 Dude why is your secondary not the machine gun? 😳 The one you get from the crate at Ward 13. It’s shedloads better than the pistol.
I haven’t explored too much of Ward 13 yet, I’ve been exploring the first world I was put in 🤣
Idk, the secondary pistol that you get if you select the Gunslinger Archetype, Western Classic, is actually really good. Does high damage. It's like a mini Wrangler 1860, which is the Gunslinger primary, and does more than half the damage of it.
The gunslingers starter revolver is too good to swap for the lil sub. I tried. It wasnt as good. Faster sure. But honestly the gunslinger perks make up the ammo difference.
That SMG that you can get from that crate in Ward 13 is pretty darned powerful in the early game but it has poor ammo efficiency. I’m using it now but I’m playing as a Medic & need to buy at least 3 ammo boxes from Reggie in Ward 13.
Finally remnent 2 has arrived. £40 quid aswell! Bargain.

Haven't seen any videos mention this you have loadouts!🤓 Click in on your leftstick hovering over your stats and you will get a load out menu that saves you so much time! I really like the game but there is just way too much stuff they don't explain for new players...🤔🤕
Loadouts were recently added to the game. All the videos you’re watching are probably from closer to launch meaning loadouts wouldn’t have been in the game

Why do when i reroll on adventure mode, i’m stuck on yaesha, i cant get other world than yaesha, is it because my campaign start with yaesha ?
It’s because you’ve only completed Yaesha. You unlock the different worlds for adventure mode when you’ve completed them in the campaign 👍

I'm really enjoying action or shooter rpgs at the moment. Recently finished Wolcen Lords of Mayhem(great game) and now busy playing Outriders.
Its really fun leveling up and I also like the loop of action then down time while leveling and checking inventory out before action again.

But not everyone will see the video on day 1, people will come to this video a month down the line and will still be making the mistakes

@@NoBottiePlus the people that got codes for even earlier access. I've come across people that have already beaten the game and have so much stuff. They've admittedly played for 10+ hour sessions

i unequiped a weapon mod now i cant find it is it gone and can i reacquire?
It should still be there, it’s probably only usable on certain weapons
I am having the hardest time in the corrupted harbor. I’ve been playing on veteran and had no problem all along. Helped my friends and got stronger in the process. I come back to my campaign now and the game seems nearly impossible because every enemy can three shot me and the amount of time it takes to kill some enemies is stupid. I can have I’ve 230 armor with 3.8 health regen and just die at any moment. Makes me question what I’m doing wrong.
You’re in Root Earth on Veteran. That’s where you screwed up. Wait until you meet the final boss 🤣
Why not start a new game when you beat it on veteran mode? Don't you keep your gear?
I believe you keep your gear when you reroll the campaign
@Born2Game Thank you bud. What I want to do is go to nightmare mode right after I finish veteran. Then lastly after that I can do Apocalypse difficulty hoping I'm able to survive. Being a soulsborne gamer I can endure the many deaths.
What is the grey health?
When you lose red health and it goes grey instead of disappearing entirely

You've probably found out by now, but when it throws it's heart, you gotta shoot it, they share a health pool
