- Dear diary, were fast approaching month number 18. Me and my wife left the UK and decided to live in Pakistan. We are both dual nationals, we were born in the UK. Both of us never had thought our lives would turn out like this, we wanted to just buy a house, work and live in the UK like any other British Pakistani. Life has taught us that you should never undermine the power of prayer and manifesting the best version of your self. Allahumabarik.
How wonderful that you purchased books about Rumi and Saladin from the gentleman book vendor. Indeed yours is an enlightened family. I suggest next time you visit Islamabad, you should buy more books from the same gentleman who is doing an excellent job making a living by selling books in this day and age when people have stopped reading books. Our support and encouragement will go a long way.
Excellent video, i liked the way you showed how to seal the house. Gives this peasant an idea of how to do it.
Mashallah you can never get bored of the sights of beloved 🇵🇰
I like your Vlogs, Bahrya Town = Beautiful, Clean, and green city, just like America....... Luxurious Homes and Apartments (without walls), street lights with Wires underground, no Garbage, Painted & well-maintained high-tech Glass and steel buildings and infrastructure, beautiful Parks for kids, no load-shedding, Gas, Crime, suk-oon, peace. Overseas Extremely wealthy Pakistanis sending watan 35 billion dollars a year via Banks, ($50 billion total) can now buy this amazing living for themselves & their families and Loved ones in Muslim Pakistan.. Farhan from the USA
Masha'Allah could we get some more information regarding food items cost as it would give us a better understanding of cost of living now.
Generally, the feedback is that people don't want the food aspect to be too in-depth. So what I've done is I started to do food reviews on my tiktok. So I will include prices on there inshaaAllah
Could v even eat ( god ) worded foods
Nice vlog guys!!!! Should have gone into more detail on the munch tho!!! Was the pizza better?
Kosar market my favorite area since childhood great video bro thanks 👍
Love the video, lots of helpful information. Allumdalillah.
One point to consider if moving with a family no one knows when there time is … will your family be able to survive out there without you? Since mostly it’s the man doing everything the driving the shopping etc
💯

These days people buy car insurance also especially for new vehicles
Brother it grates me when Brits refer to themselves as expats. Expats are defined partly by the temporary nature of their stay abroad and if your intention or action is permanent then you have migrated and should refer to yourselves as Immigrants.
@ShabanaAbid7 yea, I had this discussion with another brother who rightly mentioned that myself and others are dual nationals.
Which means we are not immigrants or expats. Rather, we are just living in one of the two countries that we have residency in.
How nice to treat yourself and your family to a delicious meal! Let us hope one day the working class families in Pakistan earning meagre wages will be able to afford to eat at pricy restaurants like EGGSPECTATION. Enjoy your stay in Pakistan.
I have tried to share Western food with many locals. Labourers, family, neighbours, etc. They are content with a simple vegetarian curry from a local dhaba. They did not like Western food at all. As I am born in the west, my palate is more inclined towards western food
@@MyBritishPakistaniLife That's okay, mate! Dhaba food or EGGSPECTATION food--as the saying goes--variety is the spice of life. Nevertheless, it is not food, it is the class system we are concerned about. I am a destitute man with no means and every day I eat dhaba food out of necessity. Give me lots of money and I will stop eating dhaba food. I want to relish what you just enjoyed at EGGSPECTATION.
Ok, so it's about yourself. We weren't always able to afford meals like this.
What helped us-
1. Recite surah waqiah every evening.
2. Work hard! (I worked 3 jobs at one point, my wife worked for free for 3 months doing 12 hour shifts to gain skills she needed, whilst studying!)
3. Make dua for Allah to give more to those who you see have more than you.
4. Give a little to charity whenever you receive something.
5. Be grateful for what you currently have.
Hope things work out for you, Ameen
@@MyBritishPakistaniLife Thank you for your kind words, brother. You are a nice gentleman and a scholar. I am just jealous. Next time please take me with you for lunch or dinner at EGGSPECTATION. I will enjoy your generous hospitality.
Asalaamualaikum brother,
Alhamdulillah I am a fellow overseas Pakistani who moved to Islamabad in November from the UK. I am also a big foodie. This commentator reminded me of a video.
Type into UA-cam posting pictures of food Usaymi.
I have also been contemplating opening a UA-cam channel but إن العين حق verily the evil eye is true so be careful my brother and be diligent with your adkaar. May protect you and your family and increase you in His favours and make you thankful for them. May He guide you and me to that which is pleasing to Him.
How you adjusting to driving in Pakistan? 😂
@@user-Rayyan123 just like anything in life. Try your best and leave the rest to Allah. It took me about 3 months to get used to driving in Pakistan.
Why to move to place where you have to secure your house like a prison cell.
😆
You summed it up.
Can't put a price on safety even in uk u have to secure ur house

Islamabad looked so new when I was in there. Now that I am in america, it looks old

@@iamkman lol j17?

how much it typically cost to buy a 3~4 bed house in Islamabad?
Islamabad is massive. You have to narrow it down. A house range from £80k in Zaraj Housing society to £2,000,000 in F6.
@@MyBritishPakistaniLife which areas are nice to get something for 200~250k (sterling) range. We're a young family and considering moving to either Pak or UAE and exploring our options..
@Adamuk2084 try D-12. It is developing really well at the moment. It will be in that price range and is CDA which means it will hold good value.
God word foods cd v eat them
