Yeah, and I been saying lately how much variety of adds there was in those days, and more entertaining. You'd never see an ad more than twice in a day, and now they play the same bloody ads almost every commercial segment. It gets so annoying.
I dont mean to be offtopic but does anyone know a trick to get back into an instagram account?? I was dumb lost the account password. I appreciate any tips you can give me!
@@deltic its was magic in those days, if you Come across of any, please keep them for me i want full épisodes with commercials include, here is my mail frankie86@live.fr thanks for your reply
In the late 1980s I worked near the Brisbane airport. Bondy's airship was giving pleasure flights, and the droning sound it made taking off and landing was horrendous. This went on all day for several weeks.
I remember this promo very well. I had just moved to Melbourne from the sticks. And still here.
Those were my highschool years. This was a real upbeat time I recall. Started to change five years later.
From a time with 3 commercial channels and loads on TV. Today 500 odd channels and only shit on
Miss those days
Too true. I rarely watch commercial television these days.

The days when there was money in FTA TV
wonder how many BMW's and Audis were in the car park of Channel 9 in 1988
Why is everyone in this ad making the IS finger????
Pretty sure I found some of these visuals from a Mirror Kisses video
They used ABC's 1977 lyrics of "Still the One".
cover of the Orleans.
This had evolved from……”Let Us Be the One”, “We’re the One” in the late 1970s.
They did a great satire of this on The Late Show.
I do remember that.

This is reminiscent of a time when society didn't hate itself, and didn't take itself 100% seriously.
And it’s also showing Stw pre network logos
Anybody still got old mtv Australia épisodes with richard wilkins ?
Sorry, I don't have any. I used to enjoy MTV in the early days.

I tried to shoot that thing down with my model rocket that year.
About 80% of the people in this promo are currently dead.
I'm staggered by how the years have rolled by. I was in 9th grade that year.
@@germanicelt Yeap, time huh? Kinda depressing sometimes.
... and will probably remain so!
Aussie TV in 1988: shit.
You were shit in 1988.
Compare it to 2018
Aussie TV in 2021: Worse.
I miss white people.
