    Lyrics:
As I hold the key to the back door
Of the world I feel my
Hand touching bounds never had before
I can view the power of my position and my
Eyes can see more than anyone in any place
I'll play the game and never ever lose
I'm the king in fighting competition
    And the other pieces
Are there for my art and my tactics now
All my games are won before they're played for
I have planned that no opposition can stage a fight
I'll play the game and never ever lose
My thoughts never spoken only the
Visions inside my head the truth never broken
Within my silent words left unsaid
I will steer the helm of all the nation
    As the captain
Take my rewards for all the good I'm doing now
And no words that I'm the knave will alter my
Philosophy for if any are heard, the games started
    Again I'll never ever lose

Standard rock music goes down the path everyone knows. Progressive rock takes a turn and goes down a different path that few know about.

Idk tbh quite a bit of Garage Style Rock and Punk especially Hardcore seems wildly creative even if it's in Pop Time or whatever.

Objectively, there is virtually nothing bad to say about them.
They made great music, and are part of the Founding Fathers of the Genre like Soft Machine & all the others that were forgotten.
Maybe Ive just havent got to swim enough in their pool yet, for I love experimental rock.
Thanks for reminding me of a band that Ive forgot to binge-track as time goes by.

The whole middle section with Kerry's vocals and the electric piano is brilliant. But I agree; that is an absolutely murderous organ solo.

Kerry's keyboards were, are, hypnotic, another musical planet, style, wisdom and taste and much more that cannot be explained.

Such a witty vindication of my teenage faith in the inventiveness of this very special group of human beings. I saw them once in Bournemouth; Derek Shulman asked for a request (I think) and my mate shouted out, “Knots!” The response was immediate and wonderful! It’s interesting to note that after a lifetime of interest in classical music, Gentle Giant still charms the soul.

Why destroy a work of art with the sterile garbage of shit that is rap (hip hop)? This crap can't even be called music! This rubbish has been, for decades, the same poor rhythm as always with idiotic gestures to accompany it. It always sounds like the same prayer! ...nha, nhanhanha, nhanhanha nhan...! Always the same! No creativity! Destroy this shit residue once and for all! We are tired of the garbage verbiage of that "street poetry" full of "fucks", "kill the white man"... etc. Let the Music in Peace!
