- Time for some tactical devastation! Lin is a pretty tough, yet humorous character. You definitely see the humorous side in the story missions' tactics room. Her theme is pretty awesome too, it fits her.

@@StarlitWitchy She kills Greyfield (or Sigismundo depending on localisation) when the other heroes refuse to do so. Hawke did the same thing to Sturm at the very end of Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising.
@@lilpotaytoHawke did a Black Storn on Sturm (both GBA and Swtich versions), but in case of Von Bolt he literally shoot him.
Do note he only shoots von bolt if you refuse to as Jake, also he shoots the chair i think.

This is my favorite song from this game.
When the game tells you that you're gonna play as Lin and you just know that this will most likely be a fow mission...
I mean, come on! She clearly didn't fight Greyfield because she wanted to revenge Brenner, she fought him because Will and his tanks would've been garbage without vision on the battlefield (and I basically think this mission would've been quite hard if they've added some cruisers to Greyfields fleet and deployed him on a batlleship/carrier).
I know it's been 2 years but still I feel the need to reply, I think she actually felt the need to fight Greyfield not only because she wanted to avenge Brenner but because she probably knew Will would try to spare his life or something to avoid killing him, which would end badly, so she took her chance to bring him down once and for all
I think they made this mission too damn easy. His fleet is so easy to destroy, just spam submarines. 6-8 is fine, then build battleships and GG
I didn't deploy Lin once that mission. She's pretty garbo for that mission IIRC. I guess her CO power would be nice for taking out the rockets near Greyfield's HQ if you can power her up. If you wait long enough, Greyfield will deploy on one of his battleship.
@@thepainkiller4939 If you're aggressive with your initial gunboats/cruisers and single sub you can even cripple his battleship fleet immediately. That's what I ended up doing, shockingly effective
@@thepainkiller4939 tbf greyfield is supposed to be incompetent, so he probably just went haha battleships go BRRRRRRRR and forgot to build cruisers because simply he's an idiot.

@Rock Golem he pretty much deserved it.
The NA name is more centered on her overall gameplay while the EU name is based on her power. As such, I like the NA name more because it applies to more of the game. Plus, once her power is active, you don't hear this theme; you hear the power theme.

Me too, but especially during a naval battle with the gray clouds, the rain falling in bursts, (more precisely during the first seconds of the music)

Lin is Kudere af--especially about Will. She acts so cold, calculated, and cynical throughout the story, except when it comes to Will. (Minor Spoiler) Will decides to negotiate with Caulder, and she tells him she won't rescue him if he gets caught, then she shows up anyway--alone even. She'd even spy on Wills conversations with Isabella. I always thought they were going to push a little romance in the story about those two. I'll have to keep playing to see of it happens.

She's more like a sister figure than a lovers, She more into Brenner since he is the closest person she known and Will is more like a little brother that needs to be looked over.

Lin is interesting in the sense.....her character actually isn't even necessary lol. She even comments this herself as the other girl starts to replace her. She is the least necessary yet has the best ost.
