'09 -'10 WWE & TNA for that matter was so bad it made me quit watching wrestling for years until the independent scene brought me back in just recently
Smackdown was killing Raw back in 09, they were main eventing most of the PPVs at that time. 2010 was just a weak year overall, just a few things that were good but it was a massive downgrade from previous years.
I have some fond memories of RAW from 2009-2010, yeah, let's not have guest hosts back, and the Divas division wasn't strong at the time either. I remember fondly some of feuds.
Yes it was that bad. 2009-2010 was prime Cena era. This dude was all over the product, never lost a match, and the overall show became cringy and corny. Honestly, I feel like 09-10 was the last time we had a full stacked roster, Triple H, Cena, Taker and Shawn were all still there, last time most of them besides Cena worked full time
Orton's heel run and his rivalry vs. the McMahon's and Taker vs. HBK were the main pro's. Also, Sheamus, during his first year in WWE, DX return, Batista heel run and the summer of Nexus. Let's not forget about Miz WWE title run was quite good. I just remembered about HBK being JBL employee was short, but interesting. Kozlov push was also interesting, while it lasted.
2009-2010 were hard days for me and I stopped watching the WWE in 2007. & yeah, RAW from the 2009-2010 period had good stuff from the likes of Randy Orton being a menace, The Miz' 2009-2010 mid-card push, the summer of The Nexus, Batista's heel run, if you actually liked Monday Night RAW in 2009-10, I know exactly what i think about RAW in 2009-2010.

I disagree with the Sheamus' momentum being haulted by becoming the WWE champ and the DQ finishes tbh... If anything, it established him even further, provided us with an in-depth analysis of his character/personality too, sure some fans may feel cheaped out by the DQ finishes but that became a trend and you were going to be expecting it to happen then, lol But Sheamus's World Title run was definitely better, and an ingenious feud with Randy Orton was amazing, their weekly matches against another was my absolute favourite thing during the PG Era. But other than that, I do agree with your stance on things.
Randy Orton, John Cena, Batista, Cody Rhodes, Edge, Kofi Kingston, Big Show, Ted DiBiase Jr, Chris Jericho, HHH, JBL, HBK, and a few others were literally carrying RAW on their backs that year.
Wwe gave precious time away to these celebrities and some of them didn't even add any value to the show. The 09 year had some solid feuds and moments that I remember fondly Cena/Orton, DX/Legacy, Jeff Hardy/Punk, Jeff Hardy/Matt, HBK/Taker, HHH breaking into Randy's Home, Orton taking the mcmahon's out, Batista turning on Rey, Punks heel turn, Kofi MSG moment, the reinvention of The Miz, Sheamus debut, Christian returned.

10 seconds of R Truth getting exploded is more compelling than any WWE television since CM Punk left. I'm not even a Punk fan in the slightest, but he left right as things REALLY went to shit. Not saying he caused it or anything, but they coincided for sure.
the Chavo-Hornswoggle feud was just funny and not ment to be taken seriously yeah many fans hated it but even Chavo enjoyed it and defended it in interviews and No not because he worked for WWE. he defended it after leaveing WWE.

@@Nitolordgrave I was a huge Cena fan from 2003-2007. But I couldn't stand him as wrestler from 2010-2015.
@@strictlyhumble3969 lol I feel you I seen him grow as a wwe superstars it just I never liked his gimmick and 2007 storylines was great
@@Nitolordgrave I wasn't a fan of super Cena and the never give up gimmick.
DX,Cena,Orton,Big Show,MVP,Kofi
These were the days
"JTG" or whatever, no sorry, that's Shad man. .RIP
I can defend 2018 to an extent. SmackDown! from the summer to Mania 35 was actually better than what Raw was offering.
Dang… I kinda forgot about Ted DiBiase Jr. Need to a video on him, if you already haven’t.
I'm 29. I remember watching and loving WWF/WWE television weekly from 1998 until 2009. It was this era that turned me off from their product. Besides watching Attitude Era and Ruthless Aggression Era vids, I have little desire to watch. Something about 2009 just DID it. I was out
Couldn't tell you I was watching smackdown. Raw I watched 1998, 2001-2008
It wasmt the worst time but me amd i would assume some other people just liked smackdown more, late 2008 early 2009 smackdown had edge cm punk undertaker face triple h and coming into 2009 first title run jeff hardy
Can you do one about raw 2013-2014
2013-2014 was enjoyable. Cena vs Authority, Shield vs Evolution, Ambrose vs Rollins
Deffo do the guest host series
Gotta say, that Macaulay Culkin cameo was awesome
Orton's face run in 2010 was epic!
Video of the guess host era
Maybe I understood wrong but 09-10 isn't the new gen Era. That was like 92-94. Pg Era started in 08 I think so this was pg Era. Prior to 08 was the ruthless aggression era.
that Santino/Santina was very weird to me as a teen. I didn’t know why it was a gimmick, like I never found “a man in a skirt/dress funny” just looked awkward and super forced
That was weird
raw that time is better than right now man no debated
tbh. i was 7 in 2010 and i started watching wwe right when the nexus debuted lol
When I was a kid I was big simping for Kelly Kelly
It will be cool if you do a video of the union of Miz and R-Truth that ended in the entire RAW roster leaving the show
Snoop Dogg vs Chavo was funny asl 😂
this was the time period i gave up wrestling. Took 5 years for me to try again.
The nexus was ground breaking in my opinion but they squandered that
@WrestlingsPremier please make videos on vengeance 2003, Rey Mysterio's journey to wrestlemania 22, and Undertaker's awesome run from Wrestlemania 21 to Wrestlemania 23.
2006 is when I started watching but 2009 is the first time I ever went to a show it was great so I enjoyed 2009 especially with undertaker triple h Jeff Hardy
WRESTLING PREMIER IS HERE!
RAW and Smackdown now should bring back celebrity General Managers. I’d love to see Keanu Reeves on RAW.
WrestlingsPremier Could u do the kane and undertaker rivalry from 2010?
This era looks like the attitude era compared to now. The only thing that’s unquestionably better now is the women’s division.
I disagree with the Sheamus' momentum being haulted by becoming the WWE champ and the DQ finishes tbh... If anything, it established him even further, provided us with an in-depth analysis of his character/personality too, sure some fans may feel cheaped out by the DQ finishes but that became a trend and you were going to be expecting it to happen then, lol
But Sheamus's World Title run was definitely better, and an ingenious feud with Randy Orton was amazing, their weekly matches against another was my absolute favourite thing during the PG Era.
But other than that, I do agree with your stance on things.
Randy Orton, John Cena, Batista, Cody Rhodes, Edge, Kofi Kingston, Big Show, Ted DiBiase Jr, Chris Jericho, HHH, JBL, HBK, and a few others were literally carrying RAW on their backs that year.
yeah if watch this era as a kid you enjoy it but as a teenager not much but still entertaning
This was the only time ive ever not watched wrestling. From1999 to 2009 and then 2013 to today. I cant say if it was simply me being in highschool or not but it was the only time id ever really lost interest in wrestling
This era was incredible? Amazing storylines larger than life characters with aura great entrances and theme music great gms raw was amazing 2008 2009 2010 2011 much much better than now that's for sure
I thought Raw was good in 2009, 2010 cuz I was kid but then I look back when i'm older & realise how bad it was, especially all these stupid GM stuff. Atleast Raw at the time still had stars & Smackdown was awesome in 2009. Now Raw since 2015 has been absolutely horrendous.
I was exposed to wwe back in 2009 when we had antenna for TV in channel 18 Telemundo yeah it was entertaining yeah I missed out on weeks better content but it was atleast still watchable then now I just don't know i did prefer the 2 hour raw over the 3 hour one maybe its the nostalgia talking
Hell Naw this is when I officially started watching. This era was Awesome.
The Return of Bret Hart was an AWESOME MOMENT, I was a huge fan of his in my childhood
The special guest thing i think was all for the rocks return. It stopped right after the rock with wm 27
You should do tribute to the troops
