He's driving for countless hours just to give us quality content. Thank you jacob 🤗
Not only for that.. but because he loves doing This stuff! It's so cool and fun!
It’s hard work though Thanks Jacob
Jacob you definitely have some very COOL and diverse friends! I really like your gifts! Thank You so much for showing us more of the treasures and secrets on Rt
66. I now want to try that Dang! Pop I love the taste of maraschino cherries .. This one's in the bag.. from Tammy in PA
You make it sound as if it's some sort of unpleasant task ;) ! I suspect it's not too onerous an undertaking: :)
You passed less than a mile from my house. The old counterfeiter gas station is owned by one of my neighbors. I love living on 66 we get to see a lot of travellers in our small town. I had my wedding reception at the route 66 interprive center.
Bucky is so sweet. Love how he sat in the theater chair 😸
Great to see you enjoying your trip through my home state of Oklahoma! Stay safe my friend! And keep those post cards comin’.👍
Hello!! I live in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. It is named after Chief Sapulpa. Thank you for pronouncing my hometown correctly. We enjoy your channel.
He has an interesting little burial location.
Hey, Jacob! That Beetle with the 53 on it, is Herbie the Love Bug! How cool is that! I’m loving this trip. I wish someone would revive these places on Route66!
Thank you for the legitimate hard almost choking laugh of you trying to throw the crocs. I appreciate you being you no qualms and letting the world see it.
I have been watching you on and off for about three years now. I enjoy your content. Thank you for what you do.’I know you’re going through some tough times now but keep your head up. You probably know many of your supporters, but you may not know there are probably thousands or tens of thousands like me watching silently in the background.
That was the best looking cat I ever saw. Great video.
Hi from Oklahoma 😊
What a super doggie that chap had 🥰 Thanks Jacob 👍🏻
I love these travel blogs it makes me feel like I'm on a road trip
What a collection your friend has. Never a bad vlog on Route 66 findings. Glad you got your sandals up in the tree.
Hello Jacob from this Texas gal in Louisiana. Thank you Jacob for your wonderful vlogs.. I love the antique cars but I do love museums.
I am glad you are doing the Route 66 again.
Stay safe. Stay well. Stay blessed..
I'm literally laughing my ass off at you throwing your shoes
Looks like Jacob ran thru the building with his VW. LOL. Really enjoy you taking us on a tour of art. 66!
That's cool that the diner kept the travel journal. That's a neat idea.
Hope you enjoyed Oklahoma
Fun fact on the round barn. It was created to be round so that evil spirits could not dwell in the corners or trap you in the corners. How they built it is quite interesting and they restored it in the late 80s.
Really enjoy you taking the Route 66 and stopping at all the roadside attractions and other sites on the historic highway. We are able to enjoy something we may not get to do through you. Thanks for taking the time to share your journey that turns into ours.
Aww, my family and I used to have a cat like Bucky. Blue Russians seem to be very sweet. Loved the Wonder House
Hey Jacob the carpetbagger I remember when you and Adam took the trip and y'all set in the same car at that same place
Love the Country Bears plushies, I have the same ones! 🤩
Wonderful dismount from hammock lol, very graceful Jacob, brilliant vlogs Thankyou always interesting and fun x
I love the Oklahoma Wonder House! The person who sculpted those heads is incredibly talented. Hyper-realistic is an understatement. It looks like just an explosion of creativity! And Bucky the cat is adorable🐱.
If I ever wanted to visit Oklahoma, this would be #1 on my list.🤗
Great series so far, I drove this last year.
Thank you for taking my suggestion about the Ferris Wheel. I wished I would have known you were there. I could have ridden it with ya. Be safe on the Mother Road.
I love how you totally failed at the Shoe Tree thing! You were not even close. That was hilarious!
I love the crow! Wish I had one
Oklahoma always has the best Route 66 attractions.
We have the longest stretch of the whole route. The father of Route 66 is in Tulsa.
Enjoying the crazy Oklahoma Rt 66 adventures!! Stay safe on the road!!
Love Herbie the Lovebug!
I'm in Spain right now and went to a small amusement park, Parque de Attraciones de Zaragoza. The Ferris Wheel, which is also the park's icon/mascot, allowed me to ride the wheel by myself, but it did sound like weight is still a factor for the attraction-which you have mentioned as a reason before
That wonder house is one of the coolest places Ive seen on your channel!!!
Maybe that's Christopher Walkin in his SNL role as Colonel Angus 🤣😂
omg Bucky (the cat) is lovely and adorable.
Hey Jacob stuck in the hospital thank god I can take you with me on my phone love you so much❤️😘
Oh my goodness.. your friends house is amazing! The wax figures are so realistic! Gotta say though… getting up in the middle of the night to use the restroom might freak me out 😂. Thank you for all you do Jacob!! My whole family loves your videos 😉
Thank you Jacob for curing my travel itch. My wife and I have the time and money to go to lots of places and do lots of things, but your forays into the hinterlands are a nice reminder that maybe we aren't missing that much. Besides, when you're older and have been there and done that, just taking a walk to a local park ends up being better than most long trips to exotic locales.
Yes.. I've been waiting for you to come here.. we have a ton of museums and attractions here in Oklahoma.. I hope you have a fantastic time and stuff yourself with the good food.
I love waking up and watching your latest!! ❤ 😍 💖 ❣ and respect Tamsen Robert's in Riverside Cali....
16:03 pachinko machine, our family had one, and our cats would play with the metal balls 😂. Imagine who ever transported that Ferris wheel from California must’ve sweat bullets getting it there.
@@Regina0964 agreed 💯
That was supposed to be Herbie the Love Bug sticking out of that structure. 53 was the number on it. There were a series of Disney Herbie movies that I ran to see back In the day.
That yellow car at 1:44 is a Cord. Beautiful!
I love this section of Route 66
Haha, you were literally touching the ground on that hammock 😀😀
That is a Pachinko machine @ 16:02. My family owned one in the 70's.
The Volkswagen with the 53 is, of course, Herbie, the moviestar!
The glass in the oklahoma wonder house is amazing. I hope one day i can have a collection like that
Have a great trip Carpetbagger. Keep safe and arrive at your destination safely.
You meet some of the most down to earth people on your road trips!
I got my first postcard! Thanks Jacob
I don’t know why but the thunderstorm thing was so cool to me
There was a scene in Spielberg's movie 1941 where a ferris wheel rolls of the Santa Monica pier. The Ferris wheel btw was designed in Pittsburgh by Ferris. He took the basic idea from a French wheel that was wooden, much smaller, and hand cranked by men. Ferris designed the metal structure, made it enormous and motorized it.
When you were in okay county 66, you came across a very old Japanese game, Pachinko.
Jacob you should honest to goodness start a “Carpet bagger” shoe tree someplace us fans can go to toss out shoes in the spirit of American roadside exploration… food for thought.
Awesome Work Jacob, Thanks!!👍👍😎 Greetings from Helsinki, Finland 🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸
Another fun day thanks again enjoyed your friends house and riding the ferris 🎡 wheel strange meal today never seen that before cars were awesome 😎😎😎 love you Mary ❤️🙏😇 see you tomorrow have a wonderful blessed night 🌉🌉🌉🌉
Fun times! Thanks Jacob 😊
Wish I'd known you were here in Oklahoma City again - saw places in the video that we pass all the time !
Sending love! 💗 thank you for another amazing video.
Yeah I remember that Ferris wheel from the first Iron Man movie. That was really cool to see that!
Bucky stole the show there at the end! It's my theater, I like you,you can stay after I give you some love bites first! Cute!
I just love you and your content. I’ve been addicted for months lol
Stroud is a cool lil’ town for sure!
Awesome that that ferriss wheel was in Iron Man! It's in the scene where he's testing the Mark II. He flies by it before going up too high and freezing.
The VW that you were pretending to drive with the number 53 on it was Herbie The Love Bug.
So many great things! Safe journey❤ cool ferris wheel🎡
I was surprised to see Turner Falls on the OK map at the Rock Cafe. You should take a trip there sometime.
Oklahoma Cribs
Who lives there and how did they get that life? Top shelf.
It’s someone obviously super talented with a big imagination and strong work ethic.
Meanwhile I paint cardboard with nail polish while thinking bigger thoughts.
That VW Beetle sticking out of the side of the building was painted to look like Herbie the Love Bug (from the Disney movies). Surprised you didn't notice that.
I used to live in Oklahoma with my family and I’ve been to that soda place with my dad and siblings.
Shoes usually signify that I am leaving this place. They didn't stay up for long, but sometimes you would see a pair of combat boots over a tree or telephone wire. The soldier's enlistment was up and he was out of there. Last thing he/she did was flip his well worn boots in the air.
I think it's where Iron Man is flying through the world's fair site.. that maybe Iron Man 2. Gotta rewatch those classics! ;) R.I.P Taylor Hawkins. 🙏 Vin Diesel looked like Scott on tape. Awesome! Love the Iron Man hall of armor.
The Wonder House was so interesting! ( the kitty was the best part, though! 😂😌)
Thanks for the tour.
Another great one, really nice collection they have there. Keep doin you mr bagger!
Awesome video thru Edmond I used to live there
Jägerschnitzel is normally with mushroom sauce and the spätzle are a pasta dough which is cut with a knife into little pieces and cooked like pasta in hot water … we often eat also fries or potato out of the pan … I love Schnitzel with pepper sauce
I'm a klutz, I'd knock myself out trying to throw my shoes over the tree👟👟🌳🤣
I love the Rock Cafe
I wish I would going in there
There's a sandwich restaurant in Tempe AZ that introduced me to Cheerwine, I will order there just for the Cheerwine sometimes.
In the city, people use to place sneakers on the electric wires outside. I have a theory why you can't ride alone on a Ferris Wheel. A little girl fell out of one at Wildwood a few years ago. She was alone on it.
Wow That Meal looked off the hook fantastic. Thanks for Sharing
All the concentrated funk of dozens of smelly old shoes...
That will EASILY kill anything! ;)
That VW Bug sticking out of the building was #53 Herbie the Love Bug lol
I hope I live to see a wax carpetbagger someday 😉
That's amazing dude
Great episode, Jake... 💯👈🏼
That Volkswagon Beetle is meant to reprrsent Herbie, the Love Bug. After all, it's the same color & same numbers "53".
one of these day you need to come to vist Bartlesville phillis 66 museum also tom,mix hotel museum too you well injoy there ty for video this
Jacob, clean out your car!!!🤣🤣🤣
I'm in Tulsa right now, not too far from the car museum. Thanks for the awesome video!
I though that was Sting too haha. Glad to hear the reference.
I NEVER miss going to Pops when I am in the OKC area. The only issue i have with Pops is the diet pop section is really small as compared to the regular soda for sale at Pops.
They DO sell diet Cheerwine at Pops though.
Wonderful video thank you
My cousin did the special effects in the first iron man movie. And she did the scene where when he makes the first suit the Laboratory goes up in flames after.
That Soda shop would be heaven for me (certainly gaining a few with the Pinball and Car places lol) and the Home Cinema looked awesome.
The mystery game is Pachinko, a japanese cousin of Pinball and very popular in Japan as a way to circumvent the gambling laws, if you see one with slot reels thats called a Pachislot, we've another alternative here that was popular from the 40's to the 60's called an Allwin that launches the ball like a Pachinko but usually does without the Pins.
Nicceeee!! I like the cars
Next time maybe try puting rocks in your Crocs, that will add weight so you can throw them higher. Thank you Jacob for the video.
Those Sailor Moon figures though 😍
