This raw video is a few moments of our trip back to Victoria to spend time with my parents. The weather was very cold and windy, but it was beautiful walking around downtown and going to a few tourist spots with my family. You will see some glimpses of the museum, shopping downtown, fisherman's wharf, and then our amazing lunch at the dining room in in the Provincial Legislature.
A great trip with my parents in Victoria... but then it was time to say goodbye and head back to Vancouver.

I've really enjoyed your Dad's sense of humor, especially the joke about the "nose picking" sign!😂 And your Mom is such a sweet lady, always doing things to make Therine comfortable and feel at home with your family.🤗 You're a blessed man, Kyle. You chose well to take time away from vlogging so you and Therine could focus on enjoying time with all of your family, although it could have been so easy to fall into the trap of trying to share every detail of your trip. IMO you had more important things to do while in Canada.

Victoria is the first port we visited when I was a young sailor in the US Navy back in 1994. It’s a nice place and people are so friendly. I can’t wait to visit again this time with my family. You have a great family Kulas your dad has great sense of humor. Can’t wait to see them again in your adventures. Have a safe trip back to Philippines to you and therine. Hope you visit Southern California in the future.

Ive been to Victoria and Vancouver but just part of Cruise , Vancouver a longer stay. am from the Philippines now a senior citizen. I am so happy and impressed the way Therine was welcomed by Kyle s parents but more so am amazed how Therine was able to adjust to her first trip to Canada so calm, unassuming, natural in her movements , first time stepping on Canadian. soil. Kyle too has been so supportive . !!!!!!

VANCOUVER, BC!! 💌 🇨🇦 This vlog brings back precious MEMORIES of our family vacay there decades ago - with my Mom & Dad, siblings and grandkids. Familiar sights 🏰 🛳 but during Spring so it wasn't as cold. (btw > The Empress Hotel was just as impressive.) We also visited the famous 💐 Butchart Gardens -- where roses ⚘️🌹🌷permeated the cool Spring air. (Are you saving it for the next visit?) ... Parents are gone now, but vivid memories remain.

One of the most amazing things about Victoria are the flowers. The best time to visit Victoria is in the summertime and never skip Bouchart garden which is one of the most beautiful gardens in the world.

The cold and cloudy weather can affect you adversely. I was raised in a sunshine rich area of the USA (Texas Panhandle) and we were living in Maryland, where the sun can disappear behind clouds for days at a time. We felt more tired and depressed without sunshine. We moved to Arizona, where there's abundant sunshine and we have more energy and our mood is better.
I guess Kumander Daot missed 2:00 PM tea time at the Royal Empress with Mom Jennermann and Therine. Pity... only in Victoria, British Columbia...

I love the architecture of the parliamentary buildings there in Victoria. They're so beautiful. It reminds me of going to Washington, D.C. Our ancestors really knew how to build buildings that were not just functional, but also beautiful. So much more appealing to look at than the modern buildings. Kulas, I was thinking that you've been to the government buildings (Legislature) in the Philippines more than the ones in Canada. How ironic. Safe travels to you and Therine!

All of North America is in a deep freeze. I am from Edmonton, Alberta where it was recorded -50C at the international airport. Thank goodness I am in the Philippines where our low temperature was + 26C.

The places (parts of British Columbia and Vancouver) you've been to look awfully cold. But they look fascinating.
Usually isn't that cold on the coast... we just got hit with an "Arctic Blast" during our trip
