Super video - So easy to create my own patterns. I tried the google sheets idea, but had so much time waisted trying to make a pattern, which after about 3 hours of trying it that way, I never did get a pattern made, so I gave up on that idea. But this foto book art app is so easy. I am going to go to the thrift shop and purchase a bunch of books to use. Thank you so much for posting this video ❤❤❤.
If you're saying 20.5, I'm guessing you mean cm not inches. You would have to convert the 20.5cm to inches using google. So the height you enter for 20.5cm is 8.071. I'm not sure where the 30 and 1/2 inches comes into the picture.- that's two and half feet - guessing cm again? But event 30cm would never fit on a letter size paper. But height always has to be entered in inches.
Hi, I have a question regarding printing. When you were explaining the parameters to make sure we have set correctly to print I noticed that you have the paper size selected as US Letter size? Not being in the US I would be printing on A4 size selected on my printer. Is this going to make a difference? Also with the book height is it the hard cover book measurement or the page inside it measurement? thanks
Height is height of pages, not cover. For paper size, A4 is 8.27 in x 11.67 in (210 mm x 297 mm) so quite the same as US letter size which is 8.5 in x 11 in. Do you have the option to choose the 8.5x11?
OK - I went to the foto art page and tried to download my image. I can see the image, but it won't generate a pattern. What size image would I need to resize my image to, to get a 2MB? I think my photo might be too large.
Image should be 2mb or less. But it’s likely not your image. The app is glitching at the moment. I’ve contacted the developer to look at it and see what the problem is. I’ll post here as soon as it’s back up and running. Sorry about the inconvenience

Thanks so much! Love that you can have a pattern made in less than a minute using the app.
Why isn't there a page that says what the pattern measurements, etc. are? It' just pages of srips.
The app doesn’t add a “summary” page. You can create one in word and add to your pattern.
Do you have to enter whole numbers for book size? When I enter a number like 20.50 meaning 30 and 1/2 inches it never fits the page properly.

Stunning projects 😍💜🧚♀️😘Chris @ Dark Fairy
I can’t find the app
It’s a web app. Just type in fotobookart.com in your browser.

@@CraftedSweetly That must be what the problem is. I tried many images, and none of them will generate a pattern.
@@GeminiDolly52951 Everything works! Thanks for your patience!
Do you print portrait or landscape??
The pattern will be created for a portrait page. Since most patterns are more than 8" long, you would need the length of the page to fit them.
@@CraftedSweetly Thank You!!!! Have a beautiful productive day!
Can we sell the patterns we create on this app?
Yes
