Mad props to Kenny for being so honest. Awesome to get a peek behind the French curtain. I feel like we’ve only been getting about 65% of what kennyS is capable of in his career. Imagine what he could do if he were super motivated all the time.
I guess Im asking the wrong place but does any of you know a way to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid lost the password. I appreciate any tips you can give me
@Will Paxton I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
This was such a great interview. Im really happy that KennyS talks more now haha! Great to hear from one of the best AWP talents. And he's such a cool dude. Has a sense of humour, respects his own (god-like) capabilities, and knows full well his shortcomings. That mentality should continue to pave a successful path for him. Cheers to both ye, Kenny and Thorin!
I've literally just watched the whole video in one piece and i can say it was totally worth it! Really interesting to hear from Kenny what is going on "behind the scenes" and great that he was so honest the whole time! And the part in the end when he thanked you was also kinda cute :D
Really loved this reflection. Kenny is my favorite player to watch in CS and so it is great to hear his side of some very interesting stories. I hope he will continue his career and bring joy to the fans once more with this G2 lineup!
257eers because he's still not amazing to interview. Wait a few years until he's a mature player and would make a much better interviewee. Think about it, if you had interviewed KennyS 2 and a half years ago when he was in his prime, he wouldn't have won his major yet, so a lot of this interview wouldn't exist.
What a great episode, players being more honest like kenny is here sure make "Reflections" interviews more interesting. Looking forward to "Reflections" with shox so we can get another angle on the history of the French CS scene. Also, it would be fun if players form other countries (Brazil, Sweden etc.) would be more open to appear on these shows.
I think Markeloff would be a good one. Ex6tenz is a bit of a perfectionist in a sense that he has to get it right or not do it at all if he knows he's not gonna get it right... since he thinks he can't speak good English, he refuses to.
When he was talking about lacking motivation to practise I was wondering about something: Is all pros do as individuals to get better to play DM and FPL? I would completely lose motivation as well because it sounds really monotone. When I practise for my career, I switch it up that I never do the same for more than 5-10 minutes, then I practise in another way (I play the violin as a job). Playing DM for 2 hours with no real goal just doesn't seem effective or at all satisfying to me. In general: thanks for the video, this was really cool to hear a player talk this openly, looking forward to watching the whole thing!
BottomFragger DMing looks boring but most of the players that are serious about the game practice the techniques in DM .. what i mean is ... you practice tracing objects (heads) .. flicking , you practice shooting with no crosshair, tapping , bursting, spray transfers, shooting with bad crosshair-placement so you better your aim adjustments skill, you practice prefires, there is a lot of stuff you can practice. and in game is the same you can practice playing super agressive, super passive, put yourself purposely in difficult situations etc... it isnt boring but it is hard.. and sometimes you dont see the results right away thats why some people lose motivation to practice... there is literally tons of way to practice in csgo.. the game looks easy when you look at good players but there is tons of details that a player should work on.
AbuLaban If you actually have a plan and do it like that, it seems a lot better. My point was that I think going on DM and just mindlessly playing there will only improve you very slowly and will frustrate you. I don't really know many more options than what you suggested, what comes to my mind: -Practising different movements, patterns or key parts of rounds like executes slowlier (slow down timescale) -practise hand movements for flicks and crosshair adjustments without looking at the screen, just by memorizing with your arm, analyze how you could do those movements more effectively in a purely physical way -play more games with a coach giving feedback to you in real time and only focusing on you -practise certain scenarios against bots who are programmed to do what other players did in matches (no idea if this is realistic though). In general I think there could be more people behind the team making programs and setting up other ways to practise the things you listed.
Kenny is a great player but form goes up and down for anyone and he hasn't been at his best for over a year. Just look at Device. He was regarded as the best AWPer for quite a while but you could hardly say that right now. I would take Oskar or Guardian over Kenny ATM.
John Wilson no one regarded devve as the best awper, only the most effective. Oskar is a very good awper, but he needs so much help to get him to that level he's not worth taking as a player. Look at guardian, for example, where he's not the star and still excels and only plays as good as his stars need him to

No ad revenue for thorin then, with that use of language by kNg!
Haha
Self-reflections with kNg - 10 minutes of silent white screen.
Roles are reversed KennyS with the Thorin winter jacket this time xd
Wizardi1111 TRUE
He just miss a glass of water
The jacket actually just hangs over his chair
LOL
KennyS LARPing Thorin with those clothes?
I was going to say, kennyS with the vintage Thorin. I wonder if it's on purpose, LOL. Must be.
Thought the same until I realised the coat is hanging on his chair haha
Meme q
"Game plan on cache, apex and I going A main and killing everyone" LMAO
Still a banger
great to see an active pro being so honest about the reality's of life and your job will not always come first.
Mad props to Kenny for being so honest. Awesome to get a peek behind the French curtain. I feel like we’ve only been getting about 65% of what kennyS is capable of in his career. Imagine what he could do if he were super motivated all the time.

OMFG THIS AND BY THE NUMBERS ,TOO MUCH
I’m so fucking happy he finally did one with The Goat KENNYS
KennyAce I kind of understand tho why it took so long because its sometimes a bit hard to understand Kenny because his english is not that great
Bleeh Ball Yeah, some words he’s very good at others it’s like he has no clue ahha
One of the biggest legends in the history of Counter Strike!!!!... and the other one is KennyS :>
Gapi P Lmao. Thoorin is CS royalty.
Never heard of this guy... Is he one of those old Quake pros Thorin keeps having on?
cerberu999 i think he might not be serious
i think he's a BW player.
he would probably destroy some decent quake players with his flicks
otter runescape pro
1975-76 Pong Champion
Last time I was this early kqly wasn't banned
Reflections with Ex6TenZ ='(
pabstd as far as i know his English is very bad
his english is good, he is perfectionist so he doesnt like to speak.. because he feels that his english is bad and he is probably shy aswell
That's Thorin's magnum opus for reflections.
if you think kenny's english are bad then you haven't listen to ex6tenz yet
Wow, really great answers so far. Was expecting something like the Flusha one but Kenny's english is pretty good now and he goes in depth
DIS GUNNA BE GOOOOD
This is probably gonna be amazing.
I've literally just watched the whole video in one piece and i can say it was totally worth it! Really interesting to hear from Kenny what is going on "behind the scenes" and great that he was so honest the whole time! And the part in the end when he thanked you was also kinda cute :D
kennyS is my all-tiime favorite player hands down
taz next please
Jonathan C +1
This was great! reflections with olof next?
Really loved this reflection. Kenny is my favorite player to watch in CS and so it is great to hear his side of some very interesting stories. I hope he will continue his career and bring joy to the fans once more with this G2 lineup!
Ooohhhh that ending was nice, with them both showing appreciation for each other :'D
2:38:53 Thorins baguette bout to E R U P T! Another great reflections,
the absolute madman just did it
These always come out of nowhere and these are always gold. Keep it up Thorin!
Reflections with s1mple?
Bookmeister wait a few years
why? His english massively improved and he is not on bad terms with thoorin after all the appreciation from thoorins side, dont you think?
257eers because he's still not amazing to interview. Wait a few years until he's a mature player and would make a much better interviewee. just give him a few years, no doubt it will be an amazing interview
Your best reflections yet! Really enjoyable and insightful conversation
everyone has been asking for this for sooo long
scream next?
Respect to kenny, his english is becoming very good! Loved this one.
1:25:00 reminds me of thooorin describing Happy's tactics with the accent :D

Very in depth reflections episode. Was looking forward for this one for A long time. Best concent while practicing aim. Thanks Duncan
Kenny is an amazing guy honestly
One of the best reflections episodes.
Ex6TenZ or markeloff reflections please
KiMO887 I would prefer someone who can actually speak proper english
Bleeh Ball Marik speaks good English, as good or better than the average Reflections player.
Bleeh Ball like KennyS? lol
I think Markeloff would be a good one. Ex6tenz is a bit of a perfectionist in a sense that he has to get it right or not do it at all if he knows he's not gonna get it right... since he thinks he can't speak good English, he refuses to.
I absolutely LOVE how much his English has improved compared to a few years ago. Long live kennyS

I don't believe any player's training schedule is that one dimensional.
I guess they could analyze demos as well, but other than that and actually playing the game/dm:ing, how else could you practice in CS?
BottomFragger How else can you practise mechanics efficiently tbh, getting better at anything mechanicly is just about reps put in.

He says super so much. I wonder if it's because we call them the French super team so much that super stuck with him 😂
I feel like, I heard the phrase "I feel like" more times in an hour than my entire life.
Are you planning on covering the Liquid roster change? I think it's pretty interesting, NAF has been posting insane scores in the past few months.
his English is so much better :O
kenny looking like 2015 thooorin with the jacket
the cc subtitles are pretty decent
4 hours and 50 minutes of DM thx to Reflections and By The Numbers
OH BABY!!!
Why you didnt mention in the description that he was awper for nV?
kennyS is the best awper in CSGO. dont @
Was mate, was the best AWPer in the world. Just like Olof was the best player in the world at one stage.
John Wilson its still between Guardian and KennyS right now. Those two are the best there's ever been
Kenny is a great player but form goes up and down for anyone and he hasn't been at his best for over a year. Just look at Device. He was regarded as the best AWPer for quite a while but you could hardly say that right now. I would take Oskar or Guardian over Kenny ATM.
