Similar thing is happening in South Korea. Women aren't getting married nor having children. So the birth rate is extremely low.

But that's not because of loneliness... it's mainly because of cost of living is so high over there that a piece of fruit (size of a palm) costs around £4-£5 each. I don't think anyone has the time or money to bring up another human. Rent prices are also daylight robbery!
The average salary for graduates have not kept up in line with inflation. So effectively, people are working harder for less.

No, it is generational problem. Even if you have babies now, it will not solve it. They need senior living communities and services to go along with it.

This is tough. I'm an old person without a single family connection (no kids, no siblings, no partner) so I know it's tough. I ALSO know that our planet is terribly overpopulated and that we are destroying the environment as a result. So, I think we are going to just need to tough it out and get the population down.

Not really, we have more than enough food and resources to feed and look after everybody multiple times over, it’s a political choice to not feed everyone, and a political choice to not force the major multi billion oil and major companies to comply with an eco friendly model.

True though that all is, it doesn't mean the population Ponzi scheme can carry on forever. Infinite economic growth is by definition impossible with finite resources, and infinite population growth is part of that nonsense ideology.

Japan has had a beautiful culture, but has adopted the United States values, it’s all about trying to make big money and materialistic things, family is starting to become least important

Umm no. For one, Japanese is not a "race". "Asians" in general would b the race and there is more of them than any other race on the planet by a mile so definitely not going extinct. Also birth rates ebb and flow just like anything else. Just for an example, France had a significant decrease in birth rate in the 1920s and knew that in turn would lead to less young adult military aged males during the 1930s-1940s. Hence one of the reasons they built the Maginot Line on their border with Germany bcuz they knew if another European war broke out between them that France would not have the man power to compete against Germany so the Maginot Line was suppose to balance it out. Just so happened that another world War did break out during that time frame but unfortunately for France the Maginot Line was completely bypassed and proved to b useless to their war effort and for their asses kicked by Germany lol. If ur one of those crabass people, I apologize for the history lesson. If ur the type that enjoys learning n chatting then glad I could help
