Thatcher purposefully chose an all male cabinet to make herself look like a more powerful woman. If she did the same thing today, people would call her a sellout for not putting more women in cabinet seats. Shows you how times have changed.

I'm talking about societal changes. I'm not even saying my opinion of them.
It's a shame you already jump to conclusions about people rather than ask more open questions that invites people to fully explain themselves in response rather than a yes or no response to an incorrect assumption you have made. For example "what political party do you support, if any?" It shows you have no interest in learning about others and want to paint them your own way.
I don't expect you to reply, because now that I'm not what you wanted me to be you're probably uninterested. But if you aren't disinterested, I'm happy to engage in a healthy discussion with you.
It would help if you said your own point of view, because then I can see what you're thinking and where you are coming from. I'm not going to just assume it, but it's weird for me to reply since you've assumed my own point of view wrongly and yet I don't really know what you're thinking at all.

Margaret Thatcher was like Stalin to Scotland but its no surprise England have been graping Scotland for hundreds of years
Rather than attempting to rank various right-wing MPs by the degree of evil (or the suffering and in some cases death) they caused, would it not be more profitable to talk about beneficial economic and social policies, and the heros who introduced great progressive policies?
My first hero is Lloyd George, who introduced the State Pension. But for me, the 1945 Labour government of Clem Attlee were the real heros. They ushered in the Welfare State, the creation of the NHS, the building of Council Houses, the introduction of Lega Aid, free educaiton, and other great progressive initiatives.
A Mixed Economy model was introduced, whereby utilities such as Water and Energy, Trains and Buses were owned by the state and paid for mainly via taxation.
And there was a broad concensus that a Mixed Economy was a desirable thing - not among the hard right, of course, but with more moderate Tories accepting the necessity of having a reasonably educated and healthy workforce with fair accomodation for the good of the nation as a whole.
And then came Thatcher and Reagan, bringing with them the Free Market Neoliberal Capitalist model which replaced the Mixed Economy. Everything that could be privatized WAS privatised.
The state no longer had the responsibility to house or protect the poor. Council Houses were sold off, and no more have been built since.
The UK is in desperate need of another government like that of Attlee, to bring back the Mixed Economy model, and to implement progressive policies.
This is why I hate politics
Which is also why you should pay attention to it, so you can vote bad politicians out.

I agreed with your top 10 up to Thatcher. She should have been higher up on your list in my opinion. She was universally loathed in the North. She has a special place in the ninth circle of Hell with her fellow politician Tony Blair having a reserved seat
It's just a list of 10 rather than a Top 10 ranking. I'm sure if they were ranked, she'd be in the top 3 for how she destroyed the UK.

These people are the reason I don't trust politicians..
Thing is John, no one trusts politicians. Where I live in Australia we are forced to vote unless we can afford to pay the fine. As an aged pensioner I can't afford the fine. So my solution to this problem is to spoil the ballot paper. So I turn up, get ticked off but scribble on the world's biggest piece of paper while contributing nothing that helps any of these cretins. I don't like them, I don't trust them and IMHO none of them deserve the taxpayer-funded salaries plus perks that they all get for the rest of their lives.
Before you read the rest of this comment, I am a massive Churchill fan but according to the modern day version we look at things Churchill was a very evil man yet they didn’t put him on the list. It’s like they knew evil is a subjective term and they will simply pick what suits them best for the list

Spoilt for choice really. It's much harder to find 10 of the least evil, no? So I'd suggest Jeremy Corbyn, Tony Benn, Harold MacMillan, John MacLean, Clement Atlee, Robert Peel, Benjamin Disraeli, Aneurin Bevan, Charles James Fox, William Wilberforce. None of them perfect, of course. They're politicians, after all. But I'd commend them all for having some principle and having the guts to stand for them - even against their own side in some cases.
If only the ruling class allowed the working class to enjoy democratic socialism the Tories and the rich only want socialism for themselves ie tax breaks tax havens, corporate subsides , corporate bailouts etc

I don't like the Rwanda policy. But the truth is no one can come up with anything better. No one else has thought of a practical plan, and not just 'fluffy fairytale' words. Thinking every illegal immigrant is a selfless, hard worker who will become a valued member of society is dangerous. Because people who are dangerous take advantage of that goodwill. So you can't just let everybody in. But no one can think of a practical plan. So unless someone can think of something better, go with the Rwanda plan.

Been from coal mining background and been 14 when the 1984 miner's strike happened I couldn't agree more I hated her and celebrated the day she died.
TBH mate, I couldn't stand Margaret Thatcher and living in London as I did when she was in power, I was actually doing okay - good job, nice home etc. But I emigrated to Australia after trying to vote her out three times. Looking at Britain in the past decades, she was not the worst Tory PM. And it almost kills me to admit that.
