Great reaction. Home Free is masterful at arranging their harmonies and phrases in a "call and response" -- which is beautifully pronounced in that last transition from Rob's lead back into full percussion. They never disappoint!
So good! Love this version. Loved the “bell tones” when Rob was singing and loved the slowed down part near the end. Just doesn’t get much better than that. Good one Darnell. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!😍😄
The did a beautiful job with this one. So much going on in the background. We get to hear Adam's ( the beatboxer) sweet voice and those harmonies...Tim's bass. Perfection. Thanks for the Home Free reactions. You might like reacting to their " From the Vault " videos. The behind the scenes of making their videos.
They have released a new album called As Seen On TV to celebrate their 10 year anniversary of their win on The Sing Off it will consist of all the songs they sang on the show and a few bonus tracks plus they are doing new videos for each song. They have also released from the new album. Oh Pretty Woman Life Is A Highway Cruise I Want Crazy
Great reaction and assessment! I echo your thoughts re the third verse slowing it down with Rob, then Austin, then Adam leading them back in and up tempo again, not to mention that jazzy ending! Just WOW! This has definitely landed on my "current" Top 5 by #HomeFree, although every time a new song comes out a new favourite is born. Home Free never disappoints! If you haven't already I'd highly recommend, I Can't Outrun You and Take My Home Country Roads - two of my other Top 5. Thx!
About memorizing the beatbox line -- wouldn't this be just like memorizing a drum line? Or any other instrument? I don't know how Adam thinks about the sounds he makes, but it seems like they would work like notes. Yes? No? Am I just nuts?
You’re not nuts LOL. I played snare drum in the band and orchestra and also sang in chorus and did a lot of dinner theater singing and dancing and competed in ballroom dancing mainly the Latin dances. No difference between memorizing a drum line, a verse in a song or a sequence of dance steps……
