I'm still not ready to give Sam and Mon up. This show was a roller coaster ride, but I loved every second of it. I'm going to miss these characters and story line so much! I'm so thankful that I came across this well done Sapphic TV show.

Their fans was actually part of the wedding as guests. I’m actually impressed they were able to keep the wedding under wraps coz they involved the fans on filming it. You should also react to the bts on the wedding. There were so many kissing scenes on the bts that weren’t showed on the finale. You can hear all the fans cheers everytime they kiss. 😂
I am also amazed by this, the fans involved in the wedding shoot and didn't reveal the plot during the airing, very grateful to these fans for keeping the surprise~😊 I love the happy ending with a near miss~ 🥹🥹

Sam is part of the royal family that's why she's being addressed as Lady Sam and like her, Sir Phoom is also part of the royal family. Probably Sam's cousin or something, and that's why when Sir Phoom assured Grandmother that love between two girls is okay and that his parents are okay with it, it had a huge impact on Grandma especially with their social standing.
in relation to that, Gap is really a well thought out show. Like it's title, Sam and Mon had to overcome many differences between them like their age (8 year difference), social standing (royal family and commoner) as well as their personalities (like they are total opposites) and I'm glad they did justice to the story line and made it even better than what was initially planned out. Gap the Series is a truly a love story and more and I'll also miss this show a lot 🥹

never have i ever actually been happy for a man having a cameo in a sapphic show until now!!! saint gave up a lot to give us gap... he said he kept pitching gap but no one wanted to sponsor so he ended up using his life savings along with his mom's to produce it so i'm forever thankful to him for not giving up on creating gap TT_TT

Sam caught up with them quickly because when she called Jim, Jim intentionally answered the call and blurted out that Moon is leaving for England, that's why Sam checked her social media account and saw the post. And Sam probably have a GPS of Tee's car, that's why she knows where to go to catch them. You can also see that Tee is kinda slowing down and was somehow looking at her rearview mirror, she knows that Sam will eventually catch up with them.
Woah! I didn't even notice that until I rewatched the episode! Good catch! I don't know if I was too busy freaking out or being a complete emotional mess, but I don't know how I missed that.

You were getting h e a t e d and I loved that! The chamcham moment broke me, also when Sam realized Grandmother had finally changed her mind. I was anticipating your reaction the whole time, and it was fantastic! That car reunion definitely had the running to the airport feels. I also thought, "why are you not revealing the wedding cancelation, Sam" but it makes sense that after all those months, she would first express her love and wait for Mon's response. Mon still loved her. It's evident to us, but Sam could be afraid that she had lost her already. Knowing the marriage was still what made them impossible, in Mon's eyes, led to the revelation. They looked stunning at the wedding, "this is a wedding, this is a wedding" 🥳 - their second one because that first beach one still counts (emotionally). I'm so glad I found you during this journey; it made it much more fun and special.

What a journey! Its actually remarkable how fantastic this series is, from a writing and directing standpoint, and the acting - especially so that of Freen and Becky. It is deeply engaging while it simultaneously doesn't take itself too seriously; it knows what it is, and wears its tropes and clichés like a badge of honor. I find it so endearing that the series has resonated with so many for how genuine its depiction of sapphic relationships is... since it makes me use some of that _empathy_ to try and put myself in y'all's shoes because I can't actually relate. I've been sat here for the past month, a 26yo, hetero(?) man, watching a cute yet stressing, heartbreaking yet wholesome story of, in the words of Phoom, "love transcending gender and sexuality" while giggling, kicking my feet, and blushing as I feel an urge to look away during the love scenes 'cus they're so well-acted that it felt like I was intruding... _GAP The Series_ is so beautifully written that it (love) transcends the audience-demographics (gender and sexuality), and I don't think I am qualified to give it any higher praise than that 💯💯

I think Sam catch up to them quickly maybe because her grandmothers house is nearer to the airport while we know that Mon's house is far away from the city so maybe they meet up in the middle. And BTW your right about Sam's illness it will show more in Gap Eternity (Book 2) I think its safe to spoil it cause they said at this time they have no plan on adapting the second book cause Gap the series S1 have already good ending and I don't want to see Mon suffer again cause book 2 will really stress you more 😅
I remember finding your reaction to ep 4 and really liked the way we agreed on almost everything that happened in GAP. I then started from the beginning and loved your reactions the most. I always looked forward to seeing your reactions because it felt like I was watching it with a friend. Might I suggest Blank the series for reaction? It centers around Khun Neung, Sam's older sister, however the casting is different. So, up to you if you want to check it out.
And now I would like you to watch Blank the series its like a season two of Gap but it’s about Khun Nueng’s life if you remember her she’s the older sister of sam, the one who talked with the grandma for sam and mon and tried to help them. Khun Nueng also a lesbian and after Sam and Mon got married the grandma tried to marry her to a man but khun Nueng ran away from the wedding and here the story begins. She meet a clingy and annoying girl and there is a 15 year age gap between them. Also sam and mon in Blank the series but different actresses. You have to watch it. It is the only series that was able to reach the level of Gap the series.
The series is not over yet. The first season has been completed and has 6 episodes. The second season is still ongoing and has 3 episodes so far. Every Saturday episode.
Funny Fact: The damned grandma who is homophobic and used to force her granddaughters into marrying men to continue her lineage, it turns out that all of her granddaughters are lesbians and this is very funny😭😭😭😭 I feel bad for her but she deserves it.

so many things about this episode seems confusing and rushed, no matter how much they want to make it a happy ending for them both. even myself who has read the novel with the changes the director made to the episode, a lot of things could've been made better.
the sudden change in grandma and kirk. poor dialogue for 3/4 of the episode. can't literally buy into this constant time jump to emphasise change in character development. you need scenes to show it. all that build up through the initial episodes and suddenly this. quite disappointing tbh.
still, take nothing away from the happy ending but sorry to say the final episode was not a good one.

While it was the ending we all wanted. That said, they could've made the episode longer, like 90-120 mins. They had so many MonSam sad moments but not enough happy moments. They should show how their colleagues reacted in the office or Mon telling her parents about her relationship. We just assumed they knew. Nevertheless, this episode was great.
I agree. I would have liked the last episode to be longer than the others to flush a few storylines out and give us more moments of Sam and Mon being happy, but overall I think they did a good job and I appreciate everything about this series from beginning to end.

Sam lost her memories after the operation. Then had to go through Sam falling inlove all over again and Mon trying to accept the new Sam. It's a good thing that they won't do a 2nd season. Mon is not very understanding in 2nd novel. Maybe has had enough crying over Sam in S1 lol

I truly hope that their next project together will be a gl again cause I've seen most of the bl actors in Thailand (especially the one that became popular) usually get their next project to play straight roles and I'm not ready for that to happen to my girls. I know it's selfish to say but I hope Freenbecky stay as a loveteam for a long time cause they have the best chemistry out of all the shows that I've seen. And hope they be given more exciting and challenging roles in the future cause both of them are good actresses.
I can't lie. I also cried at the very end and I never cry during shows. This show will forever be one of my favorites.

i love how they made grandma the semi antagonist here. it's like, she's worried about what would people say to her granddaughter just like in reality. some parents of homosexuals are like this too. they're worried about what would people say about their children but they're not aware that they're just like those people judging their own children and are the reason why many people still aren't open to this love. if one by one could only understand, slow but surely someday people would be open to this. i just hope many parents could watch this so that they'll know because just like the grandmother said, not all old people are aware and open with this. it's an eye opener. and yeah, i'm so happy they made the ending happy because this show is my home and whenever i feel sad and troubled, this show always saves me.

hello! Update, apparently Khun Phoom is a character from another Thai drama entitled Pornchiwan. It's like a sequel of that drama talked about in Gap ep 2. It's a drama about members of the royal family, and since Khun Phoom is related to Khun Sam, Freen will have a cameo in the upcoming drama as Khun Sam 🤭🤭
I would have liked to see Kirk and Grandma apologize to Mon for all the intimidation and dare I say threats. But overall it was a good finale despite the time jumps and being too short for me! I’m going to miss this show probably the best GL created ever. Can’t wait to see what FreenBecky have coming up next 💕💕💕

They end the show in a beautiful way... Season 2 got so much drama... So many cry n sad moments at season 2. maybe that's why they ended it happy, a lil spoiler on season 2 is . Sam got a head tumor n forget all the memories with Mon.. can u handle that sadness, I read the book n I'm so mess.. crying the whole time I read it.. bcuz their journey at season 2 kinda harsh ..
