This guide is incredibly good. Even as someone who has played Banished (similar game) for thousands of hours, I learned a lot from this. Thank you very much for this guide.
Thank you so much! I was looking for a video like this yesterday and today I found it! You have a subscriber in me and I look forward to more videos! I love this game so much and finding your content has expanded my knowledge base about this game so much. I appreciate your thoughtful approach and find your voice calming which is really helpful when I'm learning something new.
I will try my best to keep videos coming as soon as possible. Life kinda gets in the way sometimes, but I will keep posting new content as best as I can 🙂
Wow was this video ever helpful. Thank you so much! My biggest mistake I see I’m making in each new game is spending my tech points the instant I get them on things I “think” I need right away. It’s a smart idea to manually direct my people into gathering the herbs/seeds myself rather than immediately throwing down that gatherers hut... I love your layout planning idea as well, just brilliant! Any chance you could do a newer video with some nice new seeds or something that you’ve found to work for beginners of this game?
Looking forward to your logistics video. My settlements always do well until everyone dies of hunger, thirst or cold even when the game says I have plenty. I think my resources get too spread out, so the houses don't have what they need.
Keep homes close to work places to they don't freeze to death. If a resource or production building is far from the next step in the supply chains, give that building a transfer station to move the items it produces out into a storage building closer to where that item is supposed to go. But the next logistics video is correctly being worked on. Just give us time ☺️
@@oVioletValkyriex it’s usually when my population is over 250-300, and I have 3-4 neighborhoods set up around market places. I micro manage who works where so they are close to their home. And each neighborhood has a well and farms. But I think my food, water, and fuel end up scattered across warehouses and never get to marketplaces. That’s my theory. My statistics chart says I produce enough, but everyone ends up dead. Any ideas? What am I doing wrong?

This was super helpful! I’m having trouble transitioning from early game to late game though and I’m wondering if you could make a video talking about that
Theres no clear way to define "late game". all tech points unlocked? producing every item possible? year 500? My goal is to teach you guys how to self sustain your settlements through efficient logistics, trade, and maintaining your settlers needs with my videos. As long as your settlement can survive without your constant attention, you can do whatever youd like with your settlement and define your own late game.
Hi i really love this game, but what annoys me is the repair shop, it doesn't repair any broken or damaged buildings. have you encountered this kind of bug? Tried to restart, re-install the game and nothing changes
@@oVioletValkyriex yes i tried to search for an answer in google find one same problem but no solution,my game version is updated and it still bug like that, thank you though, i appreciate your videos very helpful for me, please make more :)
@@japhethvelasco3130 have you joined the official settlement survival discord? the devs are very active there, and have a place to report bugs. they do a pretty good job at reading all reports. also, youre very welcome! another video should be uploaded soon :D
@@japhethvelasco3130 real quick. Are your buildings damaged or completely destroyed? If they are destroyed you have to manually rebuild them by clicking on them and click rebuild. Then that jobs falls on your construction workers and not repair. Think of your repair people as maintenance. They just keep your buildings healthy. But if they are completely destroyed, thats not their job to rebuild.

This video helped me realize I was wasting labor. I have no idea the pastures would still work even if they were closed lol
Yupp, and that still applies in the current version of SS 🙂
Nice video! On-point, no-nonsense, good tips. Thank you!

make video 10thing or 20thing not to do in this game..tq😃
This doesn't look anything like the game in 2023.
It's amazing how much a game can change in a year.
I think I like some of it better. The tech tree in particular and the TOWN menu was better from what I can see.@@oVioletValkyriex
Okay, scratch that.
