Wish the Earth Starfleet ships of this game were in Star Trek Online. I would love to see the Poseidon, Discovery and Yorktown added in.

I recently played the first mission on my i7! In 1080p, etc. I love playing 2-4-6-8 year old games on a monster box! The way they were MEANT to be played!

Alright, I really want to get this game. I have a gaming pc with windows 10, big oof right there but idc about multiplayer. Is there a way to download a digital copy off the internet or some other website instead of a disc cause my pc doesn’t have a disc reader
If only Star Trek online has Fleet controls, instead of 100 different colored abilities.

The gameplay is crap, but I suppose the story is OK for what it is as an overarching plot that goes through the entire franchise. And it's nice and surreal to have Bakula, Shatner, Stewart, Brooks, and Mulgrew in the same game.
The gameplay was kinda bad but this is one of my favorite Star Trek games that deserves a remake or sequel 🖖
Remake but with allied AI to take the load off of the player.
Sometimes my family's cats will use rhythm attacks to defeat any enemies in their way in some of the stories I write. I'm actually feeling super inspired by this game because in one story I write, T'urell tries to destroy the Federation ships but ends up hit with a rhythm attack combined with Federation phaser fire.
7:14: Am i the only one to realize that "icy planet" looks like a reverse earth?
At the beginning I hear the music from JJ Abrams star trek movie's. I imagine this game is from before star trek 2009. Is this where the music originated? Fascinating!
this is one hard game even on easy needs a controller the mouse control is a wrist breaker

I don't care what professional reviewers said back in the day, what do they know, Star Trek Legacy AI Skirmishes are a blast, I still play them today in 2021, so do my friends. We also played Online together for years and years before the servers died. Besides OXM Game Magazine gave it 8 out of 10 stars that’s a B-. Yet now in 2021 it has a huge cult following with a Google approval rating of 95% that’s a solid A. Please devs make an enhanced, upgraded special edition version for X-Box Series X.
as for the Campaign:
What to improve to take it to all new stellar heights...
(1.) upgrade the effects
(2.) add at least 10 more missions per era
(3.) For playable ships please add: Orion Slave Syndicate, Tholians, the Gorn, Species 8472, Hirogens, Jem Hadar, Xindi, Andorians, Cardassians and Vulcans please. If you do this you soooo rock! 😎👍
(4.) Cut scene Live Action glimpses of enemy faces on our ship viewing screen would rule. 😁
(5.) Also actual away missions with 3 person view and 1st person view choice would be cool on say 7 new away missions per era. The X-Box Series X was built for this...it can handle it.
(6.) Recording more Bill Shatner and the rest of the actual cast Captain actors for new campaigns would rock. 😎👍
(7.) Please add also a Star Trek Fantasy Battle mode that re-enacts classic Star Trek moments like Kahn in Star Trek II Matara Nebula. Wow...mega ecstasy.

What to fix...
(1.) Make it easier for battleships to turn
[yes I know 1/4 impulse and full power to engines speeds this up; but here's the thing though...ship weight and bulk has no baring in space there is not much resistance, therefore not a real factor.]
Plus it was the greatest complaint quoted by reviewers.
(2.) Oh and if you could please add in for every common command response or enemy response like say 20 diferent variations so we don't here the same redundant lines over and over again like:
"Moving into attack position,"
or
“Engaging target.”
or
“My disruptor fire will be the last thing you ever see again.”
or
“You are no challenge, tell of an opponent worthy of my time.”
or
“You dare to attack us?
for or sanity sakes, thank you. Rock n' roll.
PS- Remember...Halo has hundreds of line variations so asking for 20 should be easy pesy.
(3.) Please fix AI on the “Revelations” mission to be more adept at recognizing critical threats by prioritizing asteroids closest to planets. That mission gets very frustrating.
These improvements will propel this game light years above the pack.

PS- You do the above and I guarantee you that you will reap the fame and spark a franchise of sequels.
Considering that Bethesda is now owned by Microsoft, maybe - just maybe - they, along with Rockstar New England might consider remastering, upgrading and re-releasing Star Trek Legacy for the newer XBox and Windows PC, because it’s still an amazing game, despite a few flaws.
Perhaps a fan campaign could be launched to ask Bethesda/Rockstar New England and ViacomCBS for a remastered version of Star Trek Legacy, and introduce a new generation of players to a pretty awesome game.
Mad Doc Software made the game, but they're gone(Though some devs ended up at Rockstar NE). Bethesda just published it. So a remake wouldnt be the same, and probably wouldnt involve all the same cast of voice actors.
THEY JUST REFUSE TO MAKE A GOOD STAR TREK GAME.

I enjoyed both Armada games. But yes. Most are... wel mediocre at best.

for getting over frustrating missions. this one can be used. just read over file before use. open it in notepad wordpad office notepad ++ www.sciper.de/page/index.php/batch-tools/star-trek-legacy-savegame-manager gpdr linked from a nother page. hope this helps. its not to ruin game. it has some frustrating MISSIONs/games. all cmd are in german lanuage code. so tranlating it would not help anygood. hope we can get an english one too soon. ONLY TO GET PAST DIZZY MISSIONS FRUSTRATING MISSIONS. it not me whom made this one i take no credits for it. just go to page and tank this person. NOT ME..
During this playthrough: did you protect all the Medical Frigates, all the shuttles from the planets and do all the extra stuff like destroying a Borg Cube?

The Vulcan High Command was disbanded during Season 3-4 of Enterprise sooo... Why is it still alive?
There may have been something similar established since Vulcan ships continued to exist.

It's surprisingly good IMHO. Then again, I've played both Away Team games and the PC version of Starfleet Battles (the second one with the various syndicates) alongside the Armada 1 game.
I love this game, but I cant multi task between all of the ships...since there is no "fleet" style commands like: guard this area i set, or etc.

no it is not good game. It would be if you could play in first person for example you could be play with Captain Archer and you could be inside the ship not outside where you can drive it like a race car
I agree that Scott Bakula just read his lines... badly. But hey, the game was 'engaging'! ;-)
with the way the dialogue started out almost felt so cheesy that i cant blame him.

I found a bunch of used copies on amazon ranging in price between 12-15 U.S. dollars. If you pick a higher rated seller it should be fine. If you are outside the U.S. then just make sure they ship internationally

Came to see this rather enthusiastic and left disappointed. This game should have been more polished before release. Also, is it only based on space battles? If that's the case I'm absolutely not interested in it.
Try the Ultimate Universe mod, it's great. And just because it doesn't have ground battles doesn't mean it's terrible

Wow, a game from 2006 didn't have planets with detailed terrain due to the fact that computers back then couldn't handle it? GO FIGURE DIP SHIT!
Plenty of games from then and before had planets in space (even if you couldnt land on them) they just got around it by making the ship burn up on re-entry, but at least they are modelled almost full size, not like the beach balls sized ones in this game! Lol it was a fucking joke.
