I’m so sorry I didn’t see your comment until now. These are super simple if you haven’t already found a tutorial, you can search for pvc pipe tumbler tutorial and tons of content should be available :)
2 questions...beautiful cup btw! Why do you epoxy after painting? Why not just put decal on since it was a white waterslide and then epoxy? Just curious. As it is, that makes 4 layers correct? Last question, where did you get your file for the waterslide and dimensions. So sorry if this was not appropriate...
R Bryson it was a clear waterslide! That’s why the cup was base painted white, I find that the image is more crisp and vibrant this way! And the reason why I put a thin layer of epoxy is because if we were to lay the stripes on top of the water slide without the protection of the epoxy, the transfer paper will rip it right off! Not at all :) the image I found on google. I just searched for the highest resolution. Dimensions will change according to the type of cup you’re working on. To measure, I use a soft measuring tape for fabric. Hope this helps!
You totally can! Lots of people have self created an encasement for their tumblers which incoprs heat! There’s also a tumbler dryer already out on the market as well :)
I loved it very beautiful. Congratulations on the work. How much do you sell a bottle of this for? Sorry if the question is inappropriate. I'm in Brazil and I work with epoxy resin, and I want to make these bottles too. Thank you if you can answer.
Would you mind telling me where you for the file for the Gucci print? I have purchased two already that haven’t worked out. I would really appreciate it.
Hey Debby, the image was found on google. Now I made this cup quite awhile ago, my search parameter on google was: Gucci monogram, or canvas (I can’t remember) to help you filter for best resolution, you can optimize your search by using the tools google provides and by changing the size field to large
Absolutely love these! Does it produce a different effect when you epoxy after each layer of vinyl? I'm curious about why the double G's and the Names aren't placed at the same time as the green/red stripes.
Snookily great question!!! Yes! It does matter. When I first thought this design I did not separate the gg and name and you could see through the chrome foil, the outlines of the red stripes :) thank you for asking! ❤️
I don’t mind at all. I can’t give you exact measurements, as cups dimensions will vary per brand. But I can tell you how I did get those measurements :) For completely straight tumblers, you just need to measure around the cup, this will give you your width, next you’ll want to measure the tumbler from the rim to the bottom, that will give you your height. Hope that helps :)
Hi! It’s actually not vinyl. It’s a waterslide decal. In the video I used clear waterslide over a white base painted cup with a thin layer of epoxy. The Gucci monogram is a background that I found on Google. Hope that helps!
@@Diamondbabyydoll you will need to run an image search on Google and optimize your search parameters to find you the best quality (high resolution). Feel free to come join my Facebook group: facebook.com/groups/g.cubedgroup/
Emily Gillard I used oracle 651 red and dark green 😊 materials are all listed in the video’s description of you were wondering about any thing else I’ve used.
Thanks for your inquiry! I am expecting and have taken a break from epoxy. I do take sublimation tumbler commissions which you can purchase from my website :) www.geishaglimmer.com
I am ur new biggest fan!!! Where did you get the Gucci vinyl decal? I’m really having a card time figuring out how to get my cricut to cut things I find online
Oh gosh I’m so sorry I missed you comment!! I found the gucci monogram online :) and I always hand cut these vs running them through the machine. I hope that helps.
Talia_the_Idol it’s a waterslide decal. It requires water to be released from the backing. Once the waterslide has been applied it needs to sit and completely dry before coating it with epoxy making it 100% permanent on your tumbler.
Hello Great tutorial 👌 thank you for posting it. Quick question if your using a white tumbler with clear waterslide do you still have to spray paint after prepping and sanding it? Thank you
Lois, it depends on the tumbler that I am using and how much exposed stainless steel i leave at the top and bottom! What you can do, is measure the height, and around the cup to get your width and you will have your baseline to what size you'll need to print your waterslide! I hope this helps :)
Lois Bartow I’m so sorry love! Idk why I don’t get notified when a video gets commented on!! 😑 sheets depends on the cup size I’m using. I have present for each type of cup I have done this design on! Feel free to reach out to me via Facebook messenger and I can grab you those dimensions ❤️
Hey Natalie, unfortunately I only teach how to make these tumblers. The purpose of this video was so experienced tumbler makers can see my process and replicate :) thank you so much for the interest. 🙏🏻
michelle meadows hahaha thanks love! Currently I use Faux Rizzle. However, for this tutorial I was using Pro Marine at the time :) now I bounce back and forth depending on which coat I’m on 😘
The cup is beautiful and the technique is just mind blowing. I have a question; is this waterslide paper you would put in your printer and print out the image on it? Do you have a tutorial on the waterslide?
Diane Daniel you called it! It is clear waterslide! The materials used is all listed in the video description, I do have a waterslide wrap tutorial that I’ve done in my Facebook group :) it was done live in one of my old groups, and transferred over. Feel free to join us :)
Jessie Jessinia if you have a inkjet, and you’re printing on inkjet waterslide it is not optional. You need to spray seal at least three times. However, I have a laser printer and print on laser waterslide and therefore, do not need to seal :)
Jessie Jessinia I usually epoxy and let it turn over night and then lay the slide the next day afternoon- evening. Then I completely let the waterslide dry overnight before doing the next layer of epoxy
As stated in the description, the video is sped up because the cup takes about a week to complete. This video is not meant to be a tutorial, It’s a Timelapse of my work. I have taught all the various methods that are used to make this cup in a live in my Facebook group.
I would love to purchase one. Great designing!💯💯💯

What is the name of these tumblers
Hi-hello, I never named these tumblers since I based the design off of one of Gucci’s handbags.

What did you use to adhere the decal to the cup or did it already have adhesive on the back?

Hello
Great tutorial 👌 thank you for posting it. Quick question if your using a white tumbler with clear waterslide do you still have to spray paint after prepping and sanding it?
Thank you
Angela Gougolis thank you!
I would! Because you will want a smooth finish because clear waterslide is semi-transparent :)
@@GeishaGlimmer thank you for getting back to me. I appreciate it. Have a great day!
Angela Gougolis you as well 😊
Hii.. im sorry to bother you again..are you able to tell me how long should I wait for the waterslide to dry before applying the epoxy?
Angela Gougolis no bother at all! I like to wait overnight to ensure the waterslide is 100% completely dry.
Love you video
Thank you!
What type of epoxy you use? Please
For these cups in the video, I used promarine. I currently use faux fizzle.
Thanks ❤️
I dont understand if you spray painted white and used a clear waterslide would't the clear waterslide show the white?
Maria Sanchez yes love. It would. But my printed slide didn’t have any white areas. ;) hope that helps
Do you have any to purchase?
Unfortunately I do not, I've retired tumbler making and only teach how to make tumblers in my Facebook group! Thanks for the interest!
What sizes are the mugs and what sizes did you cut the sheets too?
Lois, it depends on the tumbler that I am using and how much exposed stainless steel i leave at the top and bottom! What you can do, is measure the height, and around the cup to get your width and you will have your baseline to what size you'll need to print your waterslide! I hope this helps :)
How did you find the stencil for your waterslide?
Beautiful Divine I found the background and resized to what I needed. If you’re talking about a template for skinny hoggs, I created it.
Just look on google
What size did you print the sheets for both mugs and the mug sizes?
Lois Bartow I’m so sorry love! Idk why I don’t get notified when a video gets commented on!! 😑 sheets depends on the cup size I’m using. I have present for each type of cup I have done this design on! Feel free to reach out to me via Facebook messenger and I can grab you those dimensions ❤️

I’ve seen many people spray acrylic clear spray on the water slide. Is that an optional thing because I see you didn’t do that in the video?

Also what brand of epoxy resin did you use ?
Jessie Jessinia in this tutorial, i am using promarine :)
