"Growing up is weird," I think this is the perfect way to summarize the whole experience 😆. I'm 34 and still getting shocked that my friends are getting married and having kids, even more, some have been married for 10 years now. Like it just never really goes away.

I completely agree about friendships!! I had a best friend years ago that just faded out but I still pray for her all the time. Glad it’s not just me!
Travel tip: splurge on business class. Lay flat seats. Good food and drinks. No lines to check in, board, and deplane. Extra baggage. We’ve seen your “what I spend in a week” videos, do a no spend week or two and you’ll have plenty of money to do the upgrade. It’s worth every penny. I only fly business now and I save every paycheck to build up my travel fund to do it.
definitely doing this when I travel more...not for 3 hour flights but for long hauls for sure
I took a red eye the last time I went to London. It was also my first time going to Europe and my first flight alone. I personally couldn’t sleep because I was soooo excited! But, bring a change of clothes, makeup, toiletries on your person. That way you can either get ready on the plane or in the airport right as you get off. You’ll feel like a whole new girl!! Have a great time!!!

Enjoy your trip and the new place! Take anything that could help you sleep or if you struggle with sleep/anxiety on planes talk to your doctor about giving you something to make sure you sleep! If not just be comfortable!

I’ve been fortunate to have been to London a couple times but Paris is still a bucket list ‘to do’. Tip: try to sleep on the plane if you can (it’s hard for me as well), but then when you get there, stay awake as long as you possibly can, say like til at LEAST 4:00 in the afternoon. Then you will sleep for hours, and wake up at a fairly normal time in the morning. From there on, try to keep fairly regular hours. I have found this is the best way to get on London time from America. The faster you can make the adjustment the more time you will have to experience London. ✨
I have been in Paris twice and I think there are quite a few nicer cities in europe.

As someone who takes redeyes for work, domestically, frequently and has taken overnight overseas/long haul flights, buy some melatonin gummies and take a few - or however many the package says to before you get on the flight. Also if you make yourself stay up for the redeye so you are super tired on the flight it makes it easier to sleep, then when you get to England try to force yourself to stay up until evening time over in England it will help to adjust to the time change a little easier. Can't wait for all the future videos coming!

Throughout life, I have had some many friends that I thought we would remain friends forever, but things change and people change, unfortunately. When you get older, the number of people you need in your life changes drastically also. I have a small group I stick close to, and I prefer it that way now. I am so excited to the new apartment and how you decorate too. ✨️👁

i had a childhood best friend from 4th grade up to about freshmen year of college. she was the girl i wanted as my maid of honor and god mother to my future babies. we slowly faded apart and i realized i was hanging on to a friendship that was gone a long time ago. a lot of it is emotional too, i was so afraid of not being best friends anymore i didn't realize how much i poured into it without getting the same back. i think about her all the time but i know we are just different people in different parts of life and that is okay. i wish her the best and im thankful for the life long best friend i now have and receive reciprocated energy from. 💙

I ALWAYS stop at Subway(or any restaurant you like) to get a meal to bring on the plane. Trust me, it’s a lot more enjoyable this way!✈️✨✨
About the red eye! I just got back from Greece last month! I recommend compression socks, neosporin for your nose to help with filtered air, and melatonin! These saved me on my red eye ❤ hope this helps🩷✨

I’m a middle school French teacher in Canada. Students have to take French from grade 4-9. Some students take it from kindergarten to grade 12.

I wish this was implemented in the USA!! We only are required one year of it in high school (or Atleast that’s how it was for me in Alabama!)
Bring the Colgate mini tooth brushes with the tooth paste inside. Being face wipes , wear your glasses because your eyes will get dry. Bring some sort of sleep aid so you can sleep on the plane. If you’re landing in the morning stay up all day. Do not nap. It will help you get use to the time change and help with jet lag.
We just got back from London last week. Super comfy clothes (like a lose set) is a must also bring a good neck pillow and light blanket. I always download a book to read or listen to. The movies and shows are really good on the plane as well. I like to fall asleep and have anxiety with flying so a steward friend of mine said take some Benadryl to help sleep.

I’m from TN and knew from a very young age I didn’t want to live there. Everyone thought I was being weird, but I truly never felt like I belonged there. I live in TX now and feel much more myself ✨
Also, a few years back, my elementary school Bestie found me on Instagram!! I was so excited lol She had a different last name so there was no way I would’ve found her, but she messaged me and asked if I remembered her and I was like of course!! It was so so nice to be able to see what she’s been up to all these years.

I have the same fear about long international trips. The longest I have been on a plane is about 3 hours. I will hopefully attend a Conference in Abu Dhabi in December and the flight will take 14 hours to get there. So I need all the recommendations I can get.

Omg are you from France?! I have heard that if you do try and speak French, but you’re not great at it, the person will speak English to you even if you keep responding back in French… I’ve wondered ever since then if when visiting, I should even try and speak the language or not. @@Mochalolo1928i’m from spain which is right next to france and for us we do appreciate people trying to speak spanish but we can tell english is your first language and usually it’s just easier for us to speak english than to try and hold a conversation in poorly spoken spanish with a strong foreign accent, which can make it harder to understand what you’re trying to say. but especially saying por favor and gracias is much appreciated, just show that you’re trying and that should be enough

I just got back from my summer vacation and watched your video on my first morning back at home. And suddenly you're announcing that you're redoing the exact same trip I just came home from?? 😂 I went to uni in the Midlands so I went to visit friends there this summer and afterwards I went to London and Paris on a girls trip!
For long-haul flights, I definitely recommend booking seats with legroom. But make sure you don't sit in the row where baby cribs can be attached to the wall. This made my flight from NY to Europe very difficult.

Omg Lauren!! From your last video - if you don't have an instant pot you have to get one for your new place!! It makes cooking rice sooo much easier and it doubles as a slow cooker / pressure cooker! It makes cooking so much more simple :')
