Janey and Jason, I want to thank you for spending YOUR MONEY 😉on this “junk” so I don’t have to spend mine! 😂 Have a Merry Christmas 🎁🎄 From Scottsdale Arizona.
Hi Janey, thank you for doing the testing for us! I love the continuous mist bottle, I have 2! One I use for keeping my indoor moss poles wet for my pothos etc and another I use for my climbing roses to treat monthly for black spot. It works great for both!
Tap with index finger instead of shake #3 may give more location control. Love my Mesto mister, heavy weight in bottom is a positive, and good pump pressure. Thanks for testing products.
So fun! I think the little finger covers might go under the rubber thimbles to make them fit better? Regardless, I'll stick to my felco snips for deadheading. haha
I’ve used the round green thingy for digitalis foxglove, but basically use my fingers 99% of the time! Love bootstrap but find the colorful ones a little pricey so I’ve just bought some of the black ones.
I’m totally cracking up! 😂 Fun video!! But yeah, total waste of money. I love continuous spray bottles, but my mom can get them for me cheap from the professional cosmetology supply store 😁
Hi Janey, I purchased the same brand Fairosol but for olive and avocado oils to cut back on the amount of oil while cooking…I have to admit that they are working pretty well. And they are glass bottles with same type of spray nozzle. Thanks for sharing your opinion!
Really enjoyed the video. Thanks for reviewing these garden gadgets and giving honest opinions. Just reinforces my belief in “keep it simple and old school”. 😆
Really enjoyed that as I’m also getting loads of adds on them and was thinking about getting them but even with a poor level of dexterity I have due to ms the toothpick method is what I’ll stick to so thanks. ❤
Thank you Jamie and Aaron. This was helpful. I've been wondering about some of these tools. I have limited mobility. I have multiple sclerosis. I'm in a wheelchair so this was very helpful. Also limited budget. One thing I found was a pair of tongs from garden supply. Laura on garden answer showed to pick up your seedlings. Won't you need to transplant them? I only have one good hand and so getting the seedlings out was very difficult. But these tongs are perfect for transplanting into a bigger pot. Sorry long explanation but thank you again for this video
That mister , we can get at our grocery store in our area in the kitchen gadget area! I used mine for oil for the air fryer! It works great! I imagine any other liquid would b fine!
Fun video! I really like the continuous mist bottle! I think I'll get a couple. The finger socks go under the thimble cutters for a better fit...Still seems awkward. ❤M
But….the spray bottle, even on the pricey side, the make your own paper container thingy and finger cutters (worn over garden gloves that was included) would make a cute gift for a gardening friend! Throw a little garden book in and voila! Something different!
That was a fun watch. Thanks for trying out all the gadgets so I don’t have to. I am thinking of getting that spray bottle. Do you think Neem oil or spinosad would flow okay through it?
Gracious, what a bunch of junk. The only thing I like, and I have several is the spray bottle. I do like the spray bottle. Agree, price is too expensive. I got just regular ones in the paint department at the craft store. Janey, for small seeds, I saw a great way to sew them, if you want to put them directly in the ground. Put them in a salt shaker with some sand, or rice. Don't know how well it would work for trays, but, hey, might give it a try. Thanks for your honest evaluations.
Haha! Looks like the sprayer would be great for cooling off on a hot day. Maybe the gray finger things are supposed to go under the orange blade thingies to help keep them on? Anyway, why would those finger things be better than a good pair of clippers. Oy! Definitely no 'better mousetraps' here.
Heyyy question did you manage to get rid of bunnies that come in your yard and eat all of your plants? If so what worked for you, bunnies keep eating all of my plants and I’ve tried a lot or thinking but I can’t seem to get them to stay away
Well that went above how I thought it would 😆making your own pots out of paper sounds good in theory but my past experiences with using paper for pots (or peat pots) has been dismal. The pots became slimy and moldy=yucky 😜
I have a mister too its nice for lisianthus and other uses. Apart from that i probably would use or recommend any gadget. Theyre more hassle than useful.
Why not use the paper towel or top cardboard but I get paper cups to up pot from my soil blocks - I poke a drain hole in and I can give my plants away or when I plant I don’t feel bad about the paper and I compost them as they are cream colored and no wax.
@@Edu_Kate @GardenHappy…Hi Liz. If you’re from the states, we’re right in the middle of Canada above North Dakota. All of Canada experience much colder temps in the winter but the coldest provinces tend to be Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. I’m in southern Manitoba ( about 1 hour from the US boarder ) where our temps can get down to -35 Celsius which is about the same Fahrenheit. The rest of the country gets very cold as well, but not usually that bad. British Columbia is our warmest winter province. Are you from the states?🇨🇦❄️🥶
Janey and Jason,

That was such fun, thank you for being our Guinea Pig! No gadgets for me! 🇨🇦🎄❄️
Those gadgets were worth a good laugh this morning 😅 I'm with you, total waste of money. Fun video, Janey!
What a fun video😊. Thanks Janey for being our fact checker and spokes model ❤.
This was funny to watch. I loved it.❤😅
I really like the different colored cells and trays! They make me happy! 💙💚💛🧡💜 Liz in California

😂 love your honest description! It sucks 😂😂😂 “ These are ridiculous. These are stupid”. Hilarious.
Liking the greenhouse set up. Noice!!
I wonder if the mister would be good for house plants? The other gadgets 🤷♀️ I’m not a gadget fan. Thank you for sharing. Merry Christmas.

I agree, the Mesto mister works great. A nice mist no matter what angle I’m holding it at! 😊🇨🇦
Was going to say the same. I’ve seen others use it by tapping instead of shaking the green seeder.
I use the green seed thingy I don’t shake it, I tap it with my fingers and it works great for all types of seeds
Fun video, Janey. Thank you for trying items so we don’t have to.
This was a neat idea for a video. It was fun to see you explore different things. Thanks Janey!
I kind of feel like the red “vibrating” one might work if you played with it a bit and “mastered” the technique. This was a very fun video.

Interesting. Thanks for testing for us!
Thanks for trialing these gardening tools. I did like the sprayer. Maybe every 3-6 months or so, you could trial the newest items. Very informative!
One more thing, the sprayer that hairdressers use work just as well and are cheaper for spraying your seeds
This was a fun video. Glad you made it.

Hi Janey🌺 . Fun and helpful video . Have agreat day .🌟🎄🌟🎄🌟
Love the mister, but with you on the seeders. Thanks for sharing that demo.

Hi Janey, you can find similar water bottles at Marshall’s and Home Goods for about $4
Fun video! I really like the continuous mist bottle! I think I'll get a couple. The finger socks go under the thimble cutters for a better fit...Still seems awkward. ❤M
I was kinda hoping you'd demonstrate a soil blocker! I'm really considering getting one.
Janey did one a while ago. Do a search on dig, plant, water repeat soil blocks (or blockers).
@gracehSF cool thanks. Must be an older video but I'll look for it!

Thanks for showing the gadgets. Are those Terre Cotta jars behind you? Love them.

Ever since we got Monty, the bunnies have decided that there are better places to get a snack 😆

Gadgets! AKA Chinese Gagets gotch money😂

So Nice Video ❤❤❤❤
I haven’t seen you soil blocking lately. Have you returned to using plastic pots, or did I miss something?

Instead of shaking, try tapping your index finger on the side of the green dispenser.
❤
I use those misters to fix my kids hair!
Watching your video while the snowplow goes by my house. 😆
Oh my… your comment made me smile. Im sure when your snow melts your garden will thrive! ❄️Liz
Yes, snow plow action here too Zone3 Manitoba 🇨🇦🎄❄️
@@peggy-ann1961 Oh my Peggy I have never heard of Manitoba! Are all parts of Canada cold??? Liz

Use a fill light from camera right :)
🤔
Oh No GIZMOS!
I recycle alot of things or just make use of what I have, wouldn't spend money on these, so I can spend money on real tools and plants.

I so enjoy your videos, especially today. I cannot say the same of your music choices however. So sorry!
I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the music! 😔 It's hard to please everyone!
Oh gosh, I love their music choices! 🎶👏🎵
