Ebay removed fees for listing clothes some months ago and clothing business sellers on ebay say they haven't noticed a difference. Some resellers have exaggerated the reach of private sellers as most list about a dozen items a year. With the new system, ebay will flush out business sellers on private accounts. Fees will return at some point, once eBay reclaims some market share from Vinted. It's all good... just keep doing what you're doing.
Thanks Judith! Yes I’m sure fees will return although I heard that eBay are looking to go down the Vinted style route and have the buyer pay the fees. That might only be for Private Sellers though, I don’t know the full details.
I've seen something on my private ebay account that I use to sell personal items that they are not going to pay out for two days now and that you will have to request a withdrawal . A bit like Vinted. I think you will be able to use funds for ebay purchases though again like Vinted and I think this is where they are hoping to drive more ebay sales. I haven't looked closely as I don't use the account much. It didn't come out in an email it is just an announcement in a blue box on the selling page. HTH.
Yes I heard about this too and did a video over on TikTok about it. I think the same, I think it will help as I know when I have money sitting there in my Vinted account I usually end up spending it. 😅
Not worried about it in the slightest in the New Year ebay are starting Facing Fees for buyers who buy from a private seller, i imagine Ebay will end up free for all sellers and make there money from the buyers and off promoted listings.

@@BareBonesofit hopefully so. At least that would make the business sellers seem more appealing to buyers. Potentially anyway.
