Sarah Boone, a Florida woman, is facing trial for the second-degree murder of her boyfriend, Jorge Torres Jr., in 2020. The case gained widespread attention due to the circumstances surrounding his death. Boone is accused of zipping Torres inside a suitcase during what she claimed was a game of hide-and-seek after they had been drinking. She left him inside, and he later died of asphyxiation. Investigators found videos on Boone’s phone showing her taunting Torres as he struggled in the suitcase.
