I'm still mad, that you moved the 5-axis milling from the standard subscription to the mechanical design tier. This feature was, what made me subscribe to Fusion 360 in the first place and your sales rep guaranteed me IN WRITING, that this will stay in the paid standard tier subscription as long as I paid for. I paid for 3 years. It took 3 months and it was gone. Just as your sales rep, who is not answering my calls anymore. This is a 2020 story. And I'm not sure, If i should renew my 3 years subscription or just revert to the free version. I was hardly using fusion 360 after that change.
Speak brother! Total bs. I was a loud angry man about this and had the chance to discuss this with a software engineer and manager at auto desk. They gave me “one free year” of the extension. So I had 5 axis for 2 of3 years. Stil not impressed. The engineer said the main reason it was pulled from base was to not have redundant icons. There would have been no conflict leaving it and adding another button for advanced 5 axis. But this may have been “confusing” to users….. finally got a 5 axis 3 months before the extension is done. No time to learn or use it. Shame. I would have really liked to lear this. Imagine all those pocket nc users. Costs a lot more now :( At least I can do positional work.
