Your film of Santo Antao makes you want to explore this island on hiking trails. Unfortunately, I'm not so good on foot anymore, but I love the mountains and used to be out and about in the mountains a lot myself. These mountains would certainly have been my highlights. I was on Santo Antao in April of this year, unfortunately only for one day. But it was long enough to confirm your impressions. We arrived by ferry from Sao Vicente and took a bus tour from Porto Novo to Paùl and Ponta de Sol. Then we went back from Ribeira Grande via the spectacular Delgadinho road and the Cova de Paul volcanic crater back to our ferry. An absolutely beautiful day and a beautiful island. Oh yes, in the Paul Valley we went on a one-and-a-half-hour walk. Of course, the path was not quite as spectacular as the paths in the film, but exhausting enough and full of impressions to put us in your film. What I want to say is that everyone who likes your film and would like to visit this island, but is afraid of going on such big tours, the island can also be explored very well with less effort and there are still enough impressions.
