I'm in very good care with best doctors n nurses at Leh's SNM hospital.
One leg ends, new one begins.
From today women's groups start their fast, next it's youth bodies, then monks & nuns, then the elderly n so on...
I think Sir Sonam Wangchuk should stand in the Indian Election. India needs these kind of leader who respects it's democracy

Being a responsible citizen of india....i don't support fasting. Same thing was done by gandhiji. I don't support this. Sorry but there are so many ways to solve a problem but this stubbornness of fasting is not good. Also its not good for his health.
Laddakh is near to china's border. They are keeping their eyes on this part of india because its a very beautiful land. And this makes it a very sensitive place. We should understand our govt. We don't know whats going internationally. This stubborn behavior can be justified if it was a non border area.
I'm not saying he is wrong but climate and surrounding can be recoverd but safety is more imp bro.

They have seen it, they have analysed it and came to the conclusion that the situation in J&K is improving, thus, this is not the time to change the status quo hastily. That includes delay in statehood status of both JnK and Ladakh because the same demand will rise in JnK. There is a twitter post of 'BJP Ladakh' that talks about 6th schedule, but nothing such in BJP's central manifesto or social media page. In the end BJP's some old promise is not above India's self interest.
It's totally bogus propaganda that only the 6th schedule is the only answer to environmental protection. It has been cleverly implanted into the brains of uneducated tribal peoples of Ladakh.

It just gives them right to take small decision for their region in mostly matters of development or permission to mining company and some small scale financial decision.

In India, we have many regions in 4 states which are touching very sensitive area of Bangladesh but still don't have any security issues (Rohingya migration mainly happens from Bengal not from these areas).
I just want you to understand that Leh has a very weak ecosystem on which rivers like Ganga and Yamuna are also connected. Already a huge percentage of glaciers had melted just because of local construction activity + soot from vehicles. It is duty of you as a citizen to be informed and help in minimizing the climatic risk.
