I’m just realising how great Dave grohls acting in this is. I watched it a million times when I was younger but only just realised how great he was in it.

There is no doubt that this is just 1 of the songs that literally saved my life, and gave me hope along with the courage and a voice to deal with an obstacle that had been in my life for 40 yrs and never told anyone-Its like i know somehow this music and in particular a few lyrics were written for that purpose-RIP Taylor, im so sorry for u and ur family as well as every1 in the foo family-i hope u know how grateful we all are for blessing us with ur music, and i imagine that there are many more who would like to thank FF 4 saving my life-May God Bless us all

This was the first song that played in my car on the way home after I passed the final flying test to get my pilot's license. I felt genuinely shocked and saddened at hearing of Taylor's death, that's no age to go.

I'm a drummer that was born early 90's and listening to Foo Fighters and similar bands growing up, Taylor really hit me so hard, can't believe he passed away and still trying to process his death :(

My Dad, who has also recently passed away, had years ago purchased me Taylor's Pearl signature snare drum to add to my Tama drum set. It is beautiful... very much so like Taylor's musicianship and the passion in which he played with. Taylor, may your legacy and the impact you have left on the entire drum and music community live on forever. My son will be born soon and he will watch ALL your videos and he will know ALL yours and the Foo Fighters' music. My son will know who the fuck Taylor Hawkins is and I hope he learns to smash even half as hard as you did for the Foo Fighters... Rock on in heaven, Taylor. I had heard this song so many times and just loved the music. Never had really listened to the words until just now in October of 2023. Then I learned of Taylor’s death and why. It just made me want to cry. I’ve been down the road of substance abuse. Still fight with it.

Probably rented one for the interior, or at least a grounded shell in order to get the trickier camera angles without having to deconstruct a usable plane, but actually filming it landing / getting matching footage is a step many probably wouldn't have bothered with.

2 days ago was the first time I ever flew on a plane (26 years old) and was so nervous but this song was playing over and over in my head and calmed me. 2 hours later, I landed safely and then shortly after I seen the news of Taylor and was/am absolutely devastated. Thanks for helping me in some way make that flight Taylor and Foo’s and for the years and years of memories with your tracks. I’ll never forget Slane Castle, Ireland back in 2015🤘🏼

it's interesting... I was, oh, probably about 30 when this song came out. I mostly recall _Foo Fighters_ as "remnants of Nirvana". But yeah - this song always makes me smile, too.
