Agree with other posters. Fracci is PERFECTION; Bruhn is like, "Oh well, that's over, whatever." And yes, camerawork is dizzy-ing, but it's an interesting idea that not only is Giselle heart-broken, she has visions of her impending afterlife as a Wili and she is terrified.
think this video is only to show mimical expressions but not the dance because this is a very dramatic scene in the act where face and body language is very important
si tu lo tienes el dvd de 'giselle'no es ni de espana ni de sudamerica. el dvd que yo tengo es de deutsche grammophon, hamburg..manufactured and marketed by universal classics group,distributd by universal music and video..mi copia es en ntsc el sistema norte americano ..no es posible ver pal o secam si tu no tienes un 'lector'(?) especial..perdona mi espanol..otra version muy buena es giselle con fracci y nureyev teatro del opera de roma 1980..todavia esta es la mejor..
¿Alguien podría decirme que pasó con la versión completa del American Ballet Theatre? Estaba dividida en 10 fragmentos y era maravilloso poder ver esta versión enterita, siendo una de las mejores. La Fracci, assoluta. Bruhn, guau. Pero la verdad, a mi me fascina el que interpreta a Hilarión. Es un hombre de gran belleza mediterránea.

@nuaksoy. I have no problem with Fracci's performance. Bruhn, however, was terrible. I keep this video as a prime example of how not to film a ballet.
