MVA did a pretty okay job with Toga, a pretty good job adapting Twice's content, and an excellent job adapting Shigaraki's content(minus the one still shot from episode 21). However, the characters of Spinner and Redestro suffered massively in the anime. Pretty much all of Redestro's characterization and moments of sorrow were cut from the anime. I'd recommend everyone read MVA just for the purpose of fleshing out characters, especially if you felt like they fell flat in these few episodes. Anyway, no matter who wins this upcoming conflict, society will soon begin to change. Especially once Shigaraki is involved. Plus Chaos!

In the manga (and the anime, but you guys probably missed it), the Doctor was saying to Shigaraki that after enduring the four months of “hell” he was going to put him through, he’ll have the power to do anything he wants - “Even acquiring One For All.” It’s not that AFO will give him the abilities of OFA - it’s that the Doctor is insinuating that Shigaraki will have the ability to get OFA from Deku, if he so desires.
