So fearless and curious, an early inspiration, so sad about the last part of her life!
Well done. I thoroughly enjoyed this study on Ms Hurston. You’ve inspired me to pay a visit to the museum that honors her work. Thank you.
You’re welcome and thanks for watching.
Just read about her and how her book "Eyes Watching God" was not received well by BM. Such a shame that her work was looked down on.
That was an amazing video. Thank you
Thank you for this video. I loved learning about Zora’s legacy from your storytelling

This was rlly informative thank you. She was beyond her time
Thank you for sharing her story, I enjoyed it very much!
I had her biography and sold it, I am one shameful. But I do have the Last Baracoon. Me thinks I will need to find her biography again.
Omg Zora was a nail tech 😍
Thank you for creating this biography of this amazing woman. As much as I've loved her work, I was less familiar with her life than I should be. I'm so grateful that Alice Walker brought her into the prominence she deserved.
You told her story well, as well as highlighting her works and other resources/references to pursue. 💜
Thank you, Erin Mac!
This is great content, thank you.
I intend to revitalize the Black Renaissance when my book gets published soon. This woman is an inspiration to me...and she was to Alice Walker too.
“Jump at the sun.” Zora Neale Hurston

Glad you enjoyed it!
How much I had a presentation about her❤❤❤
Great documentary.
Beautiful
Cudjoe Lewis, born Oluale Kossola was not from Nigeria, but from Benin Republic in West Africa. He was a Yoruba from Benin Republic, not Nigeria.
Yes, thank you for the correction.
@@TheOnyxQueenChannel No problem!😊 Enjoyed the video by the way!💜
She was also a dedicated conservative and Republican and an international hero to many of us
:)
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
💛💛💛
have she ever met dr king before?
I haven’t seen any resources that would suggest that Ms. Hurston knew Dr. King. She died before the height of the Civil Rights Movement and was not a strong supporter of integration.
She looks like my aunt
Zora Neale Hurston is so beautiful.
